That's right
There are two interpretations, but usually they clearly write down the subject
of the crack
|

| Hello
I buy some minifigure torsos.
And there notice "crack under the arm" i understand 'arm crack'.
Seller reply : "Very clearly stated in description cracks UNDER arm, not
ON it."
Did I get it wrong?
Other sellers clearly enter the subject
Example : cracked torso (left, right,..) side
It's the first absurd thing I've ever experienced
What do you think about seller notice?

| Yes China has horrible working conditions, they have become a dump and free source
of cheap labour for us. 
Most EV batteries are made there and the waste from the refinement is crazy!
And they are the one who have to live in polluted, dirty, and water contaminated
land.
Just so we can have “clean” cars.(until the batteries die and need to be replaced,
then what happens to the batteries?)

New York City's recycling program is abysmal. Most New Yorkers don't
have plastic recycling bins, so they put cardboard boxes directly on the sidewalk.
When it rains, the boxes gets soaked and disintegrate. The end result is a soggy
wet mess that jams sorting machines and ultimately can't be recycled.
Beverage containers are better since New York State has a bottle bill and people
go around collecting bottles and cans and bring them back to recycling centers,
but I don't know what the recycling centers do with them.
After China stopped buying almost all plastic waste in January 2018, Malaysia
picked up the slack and began importing a lot of waste from other countries,
but now even they're starting to get fed up with all this garbage.
China still recycles a lot of electronic waste, but the people who take apart
used electronics generally work without proper protective equipment and many
develop skin and respiratory diseases from touching and breathing toxic metals.
The people who mine rare metals to make new electronic devices also work under
pretty poor conditions. Many come from poor countries without workers' rights.

| wow... I remember people often told me that damaged parts sell well as filler
so I tried and with sub 2 cent filler for plates and shipping capped at $10 in
Canada even if they ordered 2 thousand of them. I sold like 20 over the span
of 1 year and broke 3 or so $1 containers due to the weight of storing them.

| Canada was doing the same thing except we shipped our stuff to the Philippines,
were it just sat to rot, or just go into their landfills.
Typical north America, fix the problem by making it disappear for others to fix/or
just don't fix it till you are forced to.

One person's trash is another person's treasure. 
Some people are incredibly resourceful. Once upon a time, I came across a few
AA/AAA power functions battery boxes that someone (probably me  ) had forgotten
to take the batteries out of and by the time I found them several years later
they were corroded shut. I sold them for cheap on BrickLink to a buyer that was
able to clean them and restore them to useable condition.

I sold an old technic set (I think it was auto chassis) once and I had mentioned
that a few of the long technic beams had been discarded and I got a DM from someone
pissed I can discarded literally broken in half and chewed on by a dog part because
he claimed could fix them.
I asked him if he wanted the set, I still had the trash parts, he said no, but
other people would for sure want to fix the broken parts.
I'm the queen of repurposing and fixing things, but I think some people become
obsessive.

Bricklink forums has got to be the most wide ranging prior employment/skill set
group out there based on user size.

I was a professional Animal wrangler and breeder for 20+ years. I worked as a
trainer out of Hollywood for about 5. Wealthy people actually take damn good
care of their animals as a general statement. Most other people treat them as
trading cards.
I think there was a thread about jobs here before, and yes people are all over
the map in professions
