Just wondering if there is any value to a douple/triple logo misprint and how
best to market it for sale. Picture attached.

Thanks for any input!

Hi everyone, sorry if this doesn't belong here, this is my first time posting.

I have this collection of Lego that has been sitting in my parents house for
years and I'm finally looking to sell it all. I have seen that bulk Lego
is often priced by weight, but unfortunately I don't have a scale. From looking
at this photo I'm hoping someone with experience may be able to give me a
rough value for it all.

I'm not looking to get the absolute most out of it, because I'm hoping
to sell it quickly and all to one person (especially considering the time of
year). I just don't even know where to begin with pricing.

Thanks so much for any help you are able to provide!

Just wondering what what USA sellers typically use for 6 month average pricing?
If you are selling in the US only and choose to set your prices at the 6 month
average, do you use the 6 month average for the US or do you use the 6 month
average for all countries?

It seems like the average 6-month average sold price is including sales from
older months. Is this something that can be changed in the setting.

I have an older Lego Alien Conquest Display case used in selling at a local toy
store. Is it rare and worth selling as a complete display?
Thanks,

Hello all!
I need some help. I am primarily a buyer of Lego, but on very rare occasions
I sell minifigures, and this is one of those instances. I am looking to sell
a Grand Inquisitor minifigure (the old version from the TIE Advanced Protoype
#75082), but I need some help, specifically some opinions about how much to sell
the minifigure for. The minifigure is in like-new condition (easily overlookable
fading; no bite marks, cracks, or other damage), and does not have the lightsaber.
Could y'all give me some price recommendations (how much I should sell the
minifig for)?
Thank you!

Hi everyone,

I am trying to use the API, and I am a bit confused on the documentation here:
https://www.bricklink.com/v3/api.page?page=resource-representations-catalog.
For the price guide, it says that total_quantity can be either the number of
sales in the last 6 months or the total number in stock. How can you tell the
difference? Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello!

Long time fan of Lego, new to serious collecting/trading. I worked an event for
the Lego factory opening in Virginia a few months ago. It was closed to the public
and press, basically a cocktail party for politicians and corporate bigwigs.
There was a special minifigure torso pieces made just for the event's minifigure
building station, white body and sleeves with the state logo "Virginia is
for Lovers" across the front.
At the end of the event I grabbed the ones that were left over. The event organizer
told me they wouldn't be made again, and most of the people who have them
likely only took one to make a mini, and theyre not likely to turn up anywhere
as I don't expect the kind of people who were attending the event to be interested
in the Lego collectors market. I have six. Just wondering if anyone is interested
in these, or could tell me more about what I should do with them.

Hi there,

I have a large Lego Hulk model that I would like to figure out the value of.
I was told it is one of only 4 or 5 made worldwide for the Lego Marvel videogame
about a decade ago.
it's 19 ins tall by 18 1/2 in wide.
Weighs maybe 3-4lbs

Thanks!

Hi, I'm new to brick link. I've found some boxed Lego from my childhood
and I'm trying to find a value for it but have been unable to find it for
sale anywhere so was hoping for help in valuing it. I have set 1062 vehicles
complete with minifigures in it's original box. I also have set 1064 town
buildings and minifigures which looks to be 95% to 100% complete in it's
original box. There is some wear to the boxes. Thanks for your help.

Hi all, new to bricklink so I apologize if there’s already a thread related to
this.

I bought Moff Gideon’s Light Cruiser (75313) new at Walmart before it was retired.
However upon opening the set to build it a few months after I bought it, I opened
the instructions to find this sealed new set was missing about half the bags
(bags 6-9) to complete the set. Long story short, After reaching out to lego
they said this sometimes happens and to return it for a new one. However I never
returned it. So my question is, I have a practically brand new set with the box,
and all the bags that are with it are sealed, what would potentially be the value
of it if I decided to sell it? The box is obviously unsealed along with the plastic
wrapping the instruction book was in, but other than that it’s sealed and has
all the figs except the dark trooper and grogu/the child.

Hello, this is my first post on bricklink.I have come across a couple of boxes
of Bionicles which my wife bought some years ago.
There are 2 bionicles.
One box contains Tao Lhikan and Kikanolo 8811
The other contains Sidorak 8756.
The two boxes are unopened and sealed together in the original shrink fit sellophane
wrap.
There is slight creasing on one side of one of the boxes though the wrapping
is intact and there is no other damage. Can any of you give me some idea of the
value of these items.
This is not a for sale post, though I am going to list them for sale.
I have seen used ones for upto £200,I really don’t know how to price these bionicles. It
is really just a lucky accident I have them at all.
Any advice would be very gratefully received
Thank you

I have an entire collection of Ninjago Jay minifigures with every different
version (except foil pack variants, though I might have a couple of these) produced,
which I'm not really looking to sell, but I am still curious around how much
something like that might be worth as a whole... does anyone have an estimate?
Thanks very much.

Store: Vintage 80s & 90s Sets
Hi there, I am wondering if someone can help me understand pricing and what I
have on my hands. I have original complete sets of several 90s lego sets with
original boxes and instructions. I was going to list on eBay but then had someone
write me and ask to buy just the boxes and instructions of 3 of my sets for $150.
I'm curious why he would pay so much for this and before I reply, I'd
love to know if anyone can help me. Should I sell the boxes and instructions
separately? Would I get more if I list these sets here? I hate to break up a
complete set if it means I am dramatically reducing what I might get out of them.
I have the following sets: 1967, 1624, 1547, 1596, 6261, 8810, 6245, 1990, 6258,
6665, 1785, 6125, 6357, 6259, 6236, 6537, 6521, 6664. Any advice? The 3 he is
inquiring about are: 1547, 1596, 1624.

I am looking at set

Set No: citybigbox Name: The Ultimate LEGO City Vehicles Box
*
citybigbox-1 (Inv) The Ultimate LEGO City Vehicles Box
21 Sets, 2016
Sets: Town: City

There is no history of sales or offers. I do not have the box or instructions,
but I do have all the 21 sets that were included. What would be a reasonable
price?

Would however you determine the price hold for other collections as well, say
all Star Wars sets from a given year?

Hello,

My first post (so be nice)

I recently acquired some vintage lego. 10 sets in total. All open, complete and
for the most part good condition.

Sets
936, 655, 652, 642, 692, 609, 693, 644, 659, 653

Im wondering about selling these on and was finding it hard to pricer them.

Would they be better sold off individually or as a collection, and if so how
much?

Im just looking for ball park figures really and/or some advice.

I have uploaded a picture of the full collection, but can post individual sets
if required.

Thanks
Mark

i'm not trying to butt in on people's sales or anything, but when
trying to consolidate some purchases, i'm running into prices for part 30044
(1x2x2 2/3) black windows for like $1.30+ USD. except a seller from canada at
$.94 USD.

just wondering, has anyone noticed they're $0.24 from lego itself?

On the price guide, as displayed in a tab from the catalog page …

When I have the Price Guide settings set to limit items listed for sale
to USA, what am I seeing in the sales columns (first two columns) ? Are those
all worldwide sales, or are those sales by USA sellers to all destinations, or
are those purchases by USA customers from any worldwide seller ?

I am aware that the tilde ( ~ ) before the unit price means that a currency conversion
was involved. That, to me, suggests that either the buyer or the seller was outside
the USA (but it may mean that the buyer, and not the seller, was outside the
USA).

The Help Center page is silent on how to interpret those first two columns. Does
anyone have better knowledge ?

Thanks, Nita Rae

Hello there. I wanted to ask, if there is any visible difference of the 20th

not sure to which version it belongs to. Can anyone tell me how to figure it

This will likely be a difficult question to answer, or will at least have varied
opinions/answers. I'm looking for a potential value for a factory sealed
6002-2. With this being a holy grail type of item, obviously there is little
to no recent sales history to use as a guide. Just curious as to thoughts about
having high end rarities appraised by someone with knowledge. Thanks for any
input!

Hi all,

I don't found a answer to my question.
I set to ALL of my parts and minifigs a general tiered pricing model. I don't
really understand how it works for customers now. Is this setting related only
per Lot or to the whole amount of parts in the shopping cart?
For example. I set a 10% discount for orders of 200 or more.
A buyer comes to the cart with 20 different lots, 12 pieces average. Will he
get shown at the check out a 10% off price on all 240 part? (This i actually
would like to go for)

Kind regards for your support !
Tom

Kind of a rookie question, but whats the number represent next to each color
under "Popular Color" in Price Guide?

Thanks

I have 9 opened Batman I Minifigures from magnet sets bought in 2006. I want
to sell but I don’t know exactly what they’re worth. All of the listings and
the price guides contain only unopened versions so there’s no listings I can
compare prices to. The set numbers are 4493780, 852089, 851689.

Hello, is there any option to update price for my whole inventory? Many new bricks
are quite high priced at the begining. But the price is decreasing with time.
Of course some bricks will update, when I add the same brick to my inventory
(due to part out and setting new prices). But some bricks aren't added since
first time and they are overpriced.
I don't want to search all of this bricks and set prices individual. Rather
want to put all my bricks on Qty Avg Price.

How can I do this?

Hi everyone
I have a Lego batman movie promotional
Cube - I’m not looking to sell but am wondering of rough value. Two have come
up
Om eBay lately which are ridiculously priced so I just wondered if anyone had
anymore detail about these and a rough idea of what it might be worth?
It comes in a yellow Lego brick box and appears to be the red carpet version

How does one change the price guide currency? I've tried changing my country.
I don't see a currency option under price guide settings.

I have a Harry Potter transparent minifigure with an invisibility cloak and wand.
I cannot find any information about this figure or its value. Does anyone have
any information about this or can steer me in the right direction?

Hello brick connoisseurs,

I heard through the grapevine (aka youtube) that this website is the best for
anything related to Lego.

I am planning to list for sale a very rare set (was told a 100 made) on
here potentially and was wondering if this community can guide me on what of
sort of price I should list it at, let's say if you had in your possession.

Context:

Sky is a one of the largest telecommunications provider in the UK and was running
an advertising campaign in 2017 alongside the Lego Batman movie for its broadband
services (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SG9XFYU4oGM).
A friend of mine was working for them in a callcentre and was gifted the set
while working there a while back and decided to simply give it to me since they
had no longer any interest in it anymore.

I was not able to find any information about the set anywhere. Not listed here
nor on brickmaster.com.

Thank you in advance!

Hello
i was going through a pile of starwars legos and i found this one. It looks like
the top of the body (neck) has been put on darth vader's helmet. I haven't
been able to find anything like it anywhere. Can it be worth anything, or has
it just been seen before. Thanks for the help

I've got a pair of these bricks. Originally I didn't know what they were,
so they were listed under 3001special. Someone emailed, asked for additional
pictures, then figured out they were these. More specifically, he noted that
some made it out into the wild (pre-Kragle).
None of the gear are listed or sold, and certainly no solo bricks. Wondering
if there's any informed guess as to value. I don't want to price high,
and "cheat" anybody. Also don't want to low price a truly collectible
piece.

Is this "LEGO Inside Tour 50 Years LEGO Wheel" a known item?

It is genuine, but I am not sure what year it was made.

And finally the golden question: how to set a price for it?!?

I am about to list a few LEGO Inside Tour sets.

My challenge is that these are so rare that no useful price guides are available.
Even other channels for sale are so limited as to offer no real guidelines.

What would you do?
How would you price 4000001-1?

(yes, they are genuine, misb, real sets)

I was looking at the price guide for Bionicle set 8940 Karzahni and it looks
like there is a transaction from 2020 that is still showing up and possibly skewing
the price average. Is there any way to get this removed?

Hi all,

Over Christmas I decided to build up a lego set I had as a kid, the 6086 Castle
from 1992. There were a couple of pieces missing to finish the castle and that's
where I found this exccellent website!

Anyway, I have no use for it so I now want to sell it and would like some advice
on it's value please. Alot of the minifigures and their accessories are missing,
I've shown what I've still got of these in the last photo. I also have
some string on it's way for the drawbridge.

Thanks!

I recently found an unopened 7740 electric intercity train set in my parents
garage. It has been in a cupboard there for 40 years, and as seen in the photos
the box has a few scratches, worn edges, and also smells a bit musty!
I would be interested to get a steer on how much or what percentage this superficial
damage to the box affects the price of an otherwise 'new' lego set.

Hi,
Hope everybody is well.
I’m new - hoping to help my son to sell on sets he has no need for.

Eg Duplo 2834 - 1999
Complete, In original box (which is a bit battered)
Includes the little catalogue, lego scholarship savings bond booklet, and two
of the (same) little Forest Friends story book Snoozy Saves The Day (one book
came from another set) - basically everything that came in the box.

I can’t see anybody selling a complete one at the moment.
I see people are looking for pieces.
As I said, new hoping for advice on how to go about selling, preferably as one
set

I have various other sets, and LOTS of bricks/ instructions (few Duplo, mostly
adult) - if somebody could take a minute to give me some advice I’d be most grateful.
Thanks
L

I list the items in my store by the last 6 months sales average price or quantity
average price. Which ever is lower. What’s the difference between average price

The price guide contains data about the past 6 months. But did you know that
it actually goes far more back than the last 6 months?

The price guide takes the last 6 months where there were sales, no matter how
long ago it was. I found an item where the price guide goes back to November
2017, so almost 5 years.

Challenge: find an older example!

The BrickLink price guide has data for the average price for six months. I'm
interested in seeing that data for more than that, maybe up to a year. Is this
possible or is this data not stored on the site after six months? Thanks for
your time.

Hello, would anyone be able to advise please, if I should sell these boxes separately
or as a bulk purchase? I have; 1 x 1034
2 x 1092
5 x 1032

About 3 of them appear to be complete and the rest not far off.
Many thanks.

I have 7 unopened new boxes from the classic space series late 70s early 80s
that I will be selling and I would like some guidance into what these are worth
and the best place or way to go about selling them. Some of the boxes have transport
damage but the contents do not have any damage . They're all new and complete
unopened .

I have this lego set, with every part but I am missing the box and the instructions,
where would this item be priced?

I have this lego set and was thinking about selling it, from looking around the
house to find the needed pieces, it seems the only things I am missing is one
of the clones, which I think I could find, anakins hair and the drone the trooper
stands on. While I am also missing the box and instructions.

What would the price point be for it in its current state without the missing
pieces and what do you think the price point would be if I were to find the missing
pieces but not the box and instructions?

I found a legoset 1245. Does anyone know more about it and what it's worth?
I tried to make a link with photos of the set:

I am using the Price Guide to find out how much my used sets are worth, but I
have a question.

What is the difference between "Parts and Whole Minifigures" and "Parts including
Minifigure Parts"? I just assumed the latter was incomplete minifigures (ex.
missing hair, etc.) However, the ones with "Parts including Minifigure Parts"
were worth more on the price guide which doesn't make sense to me.

I recently bought the Lego Spider-man set 30443: Spider-Man Bridge Battle, but
one of the Spider-man minifig legs is a different color, not like it should be
(see image). Is this worth anything or can I just throw it away? Thanks!

Hi everyone, looking for some general advice please.

A family friend gifted my son a mint condition unopened Lego System Aquasharks
Kit 6135, which they'd had in a cupboard at home for over 20 years.

Being that it looks like it was bought in a shop just yesterday I just wanted
to check if a kit like this carries some crazy value that we'd be kicking
ourselves over, if we just let him tear it open and start playing.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I have one of the red Prototype helmets from around 20 years ago, was a Bricklink
purchase for I think £25 dollars. It is genuine identical to the type 1 helmet
in every detail inside and out. I was wondering if these can still be authenticated
with all of the fakes out there and what it's current value might be?

I am currently looking to sell some of my Lego products to help make ends meet
and I was wondering if this website would be a good one to use to determine the
value of a Lego product before selling? Also is this a website that Bricks and
Minifigs uses to negotiate with customers that are selling?

Hi Bricklovers,

I have 3 (almost) complete Dacta sets 3010-1. Only 1 rubber belt and the 75cm
string is missing. Instruction cards are almost complete and is very good condition.

I want to sell these old and beautiful set for a normal price. Can anybody provide
me of some advice, it's the first time I own Dacta sets. Pricing is unclear
to me.
I also have a complete 9612 (with box) set for sale, same question.

Thanks for reply,

Bricks in Waterland

Ok, so this is a bit strange...

We bought 500x white 95342 from a shop in Germany. We are Canadian so there is
no VAT involded.

We paid 0.31933 euro each, which comes up to 0.43$CAD.

In the price guide for the item, we see our purchase, it's the only one for
500 chickens in May and the price guide says we paid 0.52$CAD

Anyone have a clue what is going on there?

I bought 50 of these at $14.44 each US dollar. Lando Calrissian, Old (Cape with
Collar) Why are they showing in the price guide sold at $17.66. It was not Euro.
All the figs that I bought in that order have the wrong sold price. I know what
I paid and the guide seems wrong.

Hello,
It was suggested I post here.

My father-in-law found some Lego kits hidden in his basement he must have hidden
back in 1974.

The kids are 730 Steamshovel with truck and 710 wrecker with car.
Both marked made in Denmark 1974.

730 is missing the plastic box wrapper and the box has a few minor damages but
is 100% complete with Instructions never assembled and the 710 kit is 100% complete
with shipping plastic wrap and price tag.

I’m looking for a ball mark value.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I recently have found a Boba Fett with no helmet printing, I was wondering if
anyone knew how rare this is, or had any appraisals, I am also open to any and
all offers. Anyone have any advice? The helmet is just a plain mandatorily helmet
with absolutely no printing, similar to the one in the new mandatorily forge.

Thanks, NG

Hello,

I have made some purchases recently in USD, CAD, and NOK. When viewing Price
Guide, and seeing what I paid, the value under "Sold" is higher than what was
on my order, ONLY for NOK. USD and CAD the values are the same..

My question is, am I truly paying what I see in my order / invoice? Why would
an item be listed and sold in my order for 300 NOK but show on the price guide
at 375 NOK ?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Going through and photographing some sets to sell I noticed this shield has a
printing mistake, the yellow outline was misaligned.

Was or is this a common variation during that time, or a super rare one off mistake?

Hi,

I’m trying to find out an average price for assorted Bionicle parts. They don’t
belong to any particular sets, they’re just extras we bought our son over the
years and he’s ready to move them on. He’s bagged them up and they weigh about
750g per bag (rough estimate). The parts include some masks, joints and general
bits and pieces.

All of the bags are this size and contain roughly the same amount of pieces.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi!

I've got a hand on this blue lego case, assumable from the 70s. I've
noe been able to find any pictures of a similar item on web and wonder if it
is quite rare. The case has a White handle.

What do you think? Any guesses on a fair value?

Thanks for all inputs

Do any UK sellers know if you can bulk adjust stock in Brickstore to reflect
the UK 6th month ave. I've got it close but think it is still pulling in
the global 6th month average.
Thanks

Hi all, I recently discovered a vintage Lego 1589 set in my loft. It seems to
be brand new but the box has been opened. The contents is pristine and includes
all the appropriate pieces and stickers. It was also packaged with the original
box it came in from Lego. I’m not sure how to price this item as I can’t seem
to find one in this kind of condition online. I live in the UK. Would be really
great full of some expert help with this one please.

Many thanks

J

Price:
US $64,990.00
(~EUR 59,700.8515)

When I check the price guide of a part, I can see that it is on many wanted lists
of other users (e.g. "On 314875 Wanted Lists" - below "My Wanted List" and "Add
to My Wanted List").

Once a user described how to see which different colors of the 314875 entries
are on other user's Wanted Lists, but I can't find that comment anymore
and I also can't figure out how to do it

Thanks!

Hi all

I have found this brick in a used bulk lot. It is in good condition, only a small
flaw in the L. It seems like it could be a pretty rare piece. Anyone have an
idea of what it could sell for?

Thank you

I have written a program to help me track my LEGO inventory. I am a collector
but I don't plan on doing any selling. I would like to access the Price Guide
to get a better estimate on the value of my collection.

Currently the API is only available to sellers. Is there a way to get access
without being a seller?

Hi everybody,

When adding parts manually from my Inventory (no part out), I used to adjust
quantity and pricing by quickly checking the Price Guide.

When I say quick, I mean I just clicked on the "Price" link and a pop up window
opened instantly, showing the Price Guide for that part. Then I closed the window
and adjusted my price. This was a 2 seconds procedure. I used that procedure
for several colors of the same part without leaving the page. Then I submitted
all these changes in one go. Nice and fast!

Today, for an unknown reason, the same link leads to another page showing the
complete Price Guide with all items for sale. This takes a loooong time to load.
For the most common parts, it can take up to 20 seconds to load!!! Yes, I might
have an old computer. But still.
Then, I have to come back to the previous Inventory page, which can take time
to load and at the top of the said page. Then I have to scroll down to find and
adjust the right color entry. That's for one color. If I have five entries
of the same part in various colors to adjust, I must repeat that process accordingly.

This is really time consuming (x10 at least), annoying, frustrating and painful.
I know there are other ways to adjust prices, but that's the way I used to
work for years and it was so easy. I can't think of any quicker way.

Please, just bring back the small pop up window... Please?

Thaks for reading my rant.

Frédéric

Hello everyone, so the most recent Clone Command Station had a head misprint
for the sw1146 (clone commander) minifigure. I was wondering how much something
like this would go for? Thank you for your time.

Hey Bricklink community

I am considering opening a store to sell my unwanted sets I just don't have
room for.

My question is, what additional value does having the box add to the sale price,
and does it matter to a buyer if it has been flattened? Most of the boxes are
from purchases in the last 5 years.

Appreciate any comments.

Chris

I woud like to see the last known sellingprice for an item, no matter how long
ago it sold.
Now we can only see the sales from last 6 months and the items for sale.

But sometimes an item is no longer for sale and it has been more than 6 months
since a sale, I would still like to know what it was sold for.
Why? For my insurrance policy...

Is it an good idea to change it to what I suggest? How do I make it happen??

New member today, please be gentle if I've broken any guidelines. [The rules
mentioned I shouldn't post here about items I'm selling - but I'm
not selling them on here, just to a friend of a friend]

I'm afraid I am completely clueless on pricing for these; hoping to get a
guide here.
I have two in-store shelf displays - small ones, known as Boosters, which are
a built model with the retail box behind, in a clear plastic case, not the 3ft
or larger ones.
A friend of my partner wishes to buy them, so I'm just looking for a fair
price, passing them on to someone who will appreciate them.
One is City, the other Ninjago. Both are pristine, boxes only opened today to
take photos. They still have the protective film on, hence the slightly blurry
pictures.

The reason I have these is that I used to install them, by the hundred, to retailers.
The very last run I ever did, the retailer went bust, leaving me with these two
& nowhere to put them.

If anyone has any idea what I should ask for them, I'd be most grateful.
I'm in the UK, so appropriate pricing in £ would be helpful - otherwise any
ballpark figure & can translate for myself would be helpful.

I have just found this set, unopened, intact seal. I have no idea of how much
this set is worth so would be grateful for some feedback.

Current price for the 6 items in the set in new condition is around the €300
mark, so what do members think would be an acceptable premium for the set as
originally sold?

Thanks,

Martin.
