You can trade with the sellers on BrickLink, but the forum barely gets a trickle
of the total daily traffic. All the big dogs and truffle hunters browse the catalog
and/or use Wanted Lists to find stores. Opening a store lets you notify all the
collectors looking for that minifig.
(sw0472 is currently on 4937 Wanted Lists)
If you have other stuff available, you could list everything below average prices
(less value = reduce less). Then break into a smile, laugh evilly, and raise
your minimum buy to whatever you were hoping to get from the big ticket item.
