| Which set do you think will be worth more in the future, 9516 Jabba's Palace,
or 75309 UCS Republic Gunship? They're both about the same right now, although
the Palace is worth a little more. Also, which one do you think looks better

| I recently purchased a set that was glued together to include the minifig. Luckily
the seller was honest and friendly and refunded me saying he had no idea that
set had been glued by the person he bought it from.
Does anyone know any methods to get the glue off the parts without damaging them?
There are no stickers so I don't have to worry about ruining those. Will
something like goo gone work?

| (for EU buyers ordering from non-EU countries)
Maybe it has happened to you before to pay VAT twice: first when BL order is
placed and the second time when it gets to the Customs.
So my suggestion would be to make it optional (if permited by regulation of course*)
when order is placed.
I know there were some EU countries that had (still have?) problems with this
when shipments arrive to their country.
Opinions? EU buyers: what is your experience regarding this?

* BL might be obligated to charge VAT but then I would expect BL to make sure
the shipments are correctly posted (and all the neccessary inormation entered
into the IOSS computer system) - if BL can't do this then I would like not
to pay VAT when I place an order to avoid more work for me and for BL team (now
I have one order when VAT was paid twice. I am still waiting for the official
receipt before contacting BL team for a refund (our Tax Administration says I
must request a refund from the marketplace)).

| Hello Bricklink community,
I create LEGO mosaic artwork (www.brickmaniac.com & Instagram @brickmosaics).
I am gearing up for a large community build project involving ~70 city kids this
summer. As a way to punctuate this event, I would like to offer participants
a chance to build and take home with them a LEGO minifigure of their own design.
I scratched together about 30 minifigures from my own collection, but I need
more minifigs and extra parts to insure that each participant can have the opportunity
to get one. My budget also isn't sufficient to afford the purchase new minifigures
in this quantity, which is why I am asking the Bricklink community for help.
I am pretty sure there must be some extra minifigs & parts out there, given our
large LEGO community!
The ask: I would really appreciate it if you have any minifigures or
parts to share. If possible, I hope to have parts/figures with different skin
tones, so that kids of different skin tones can make a figure that looks like
they do, if they want. The minifigs/parts do not need to be brand new.
At this point, I am looking for anything (heads, torsos with arms/hands, legs,
arms/hands, hair, helmet, etc.), so please direct message me if you have something
that you're willing to contribute.
I have a stamp collection and I am able and happy to reimburse for shipping.

| Just recently purchased this and wanted to share since it's a bit of an oddity.
The part was flipped the wrong way when the rocks were printed on it. Resulting
in both sides being printed, and the top missing a partial print. I haven't
seen anything quite like it before and am surprised it exists, made it past quality
control and survived 30 years to today intact.

| Hi all. I build with 1-1 studs and want to purchase about 30K studs in bright
colors. I have never done international shipping and I am looking for great prices.
I have found some studs but I'm not sure about import fees, etc. I wanted
to do my order stateside but I can't afford 2-5 cents a stud when I am talking
about getting the type of quantity I'm looking for.
I am a blind lego builder and the bright colors help me keep my colors alive.
Any advice? Anyone know of a store who might offer a deal on something like this?

| The inventory of parts for set #76115-1 does not contain the sticker counterparts,
namely six black tiles and slopes with parts of the Venom symbol on each. How

| OK, I am still looking for help identifying this piece. I have searched the internet
as much as possible, and even contacted LEGO.com with no luck. It's been
over a year and I still don't know what this piece is, what set it might
go to, or what number to list it on BrickLink with! I have included pics of each
side of this piece in the hopes that someone here knows what it is.
Oh, and please!! If you don't know what it is, please don't reply like

| Hi,
i am a private Lego fan and builder, and i buy lego to build MOCs with my children.
I do not have a store and i do not plan to sell lego.
So far i have a nice collection of Lego bricks and i plan to buy more as i go
along building new models.
But i have a problem: i was planning to just download the list of required bricks
from rebrickable and apply all my existing and past orders to my new wanted list
so i know what is missing.
This worked so far for my first wanted lists as i went along buying and making
wanted lists.
But this week @ter a long pause) i set up a new Wanted List and i saw that all
my past orders from last year had been purged.
Now i cant apply my old orders to new lists.
How can i now tell which parts i am missing?

| I think the Rock Raiders rock monster needs to follow the precedent sent by the
Power Miner's rock monsters and become a minifigure in the Rock Raiders theme.
He was even affectionately referred to as "Rocky" in the old Lego Club
magazine comics so he's basically a named character.

| Hello,
Today I have made a spring cleaning of "My Activities". We have had around 30
pending catalog submission requests for new items with stickers or head variants.
They have been requested between October 21 and January 22 - no reply, no answer,
no deny, no approval. That's pity.
Now we have cleaned it up - our activity overview looks now much more better.
Better feeling for us and the few cent article will be removed from our stock
- place for existing items.

| I finally got my orange brick over the weekend; no negative or neutral feedback
yet (knock on wood). Maybe I should update my profile picture to be holding
an orange brick.
Next goal is pink; hopefully it doesn't take another 10 years.

| As some of you miiiight have noticed I haven't been around for a while here.
Just a last post to say I'm quitting this forum, as I feel we have plenty
of channels to discuss all things Bricklink and Lego selling in general these
days, and I no longer feel this forum has any merit to me. I might post something
someday if there's some kind of urgent selling emergency because of new rules
or whatever, but that'll be it. So, it's been fun, see you guys elsewhere
or good luck on all your Lego endeavours
I will just leave a couple of usual replies to common topics right here:
- Wear that first negative feedback like a badge of honor
- You have to separate payment status and order status, set payment status to
none, then try again
- Just pay your taxes
- You need Brickstore or other software to be able to do that
- Yeah, I'm also waiting until Bricklink lets me part out my Ninjago Gardens
- Those are all pearl gold
- Wow! Yes, I would love to buy that driver's license and US passport
Hope this way my input is going to be relevant for many years to come

| I got an unsolicited email claiming to be from the store "Brick24 - MEGASTORE"
in Germany (a store I have never had anything to do with) that claims to offer
a "b2b opportunity" and contains an attached PDF listing a bunch of sets and
prices.
Is this spam from the actual linked store (brick24), spam from someone pretending
to be that store or an outright scam?

| Hi guys,
I am having some trouble tracking down this item, looking for any info on where
a good place to look for it for purchase might be. The item in question is a
lego city magazine from 2018 from europe that the Arctic Explorer with Snowmobile
foil pack (951810) came bundled with. The magazine in question was printed in
3 different versions listed below with the item numbers for bricklink, and I
have also attached some pictures of the foilpack and a version of the magazine
for reference:

City Magazine 2018 Issue 10 (German) [mag2018cty10de]
On bricklink there are currently no copies for sale of any of the various versions,
so I might need to look elsewhere. Next steps were gonna be reaching out to individual
sellers on bricklink with current postings as I have already checked the listings
and none have the magazine included. Any info on how to proceed is greatly appreciated,

| I placed an order from a UK seller. This is my first order from a non-EU seller
since 1-jul-2021 when changed rules applied regarding VAT.
My question is: does Bricklink fills the IOSS application correctly so there
will be no problems when shipment arrives to Customs in my country? Do sellers
fill this data? I had problems with the (largest?) online market place at the
beginning because data was not entered into the IOSS application correctly so
VAT was charged twice.

| A few days ago I happened to talk to a manager working in Toysrus, asking him
why their Lego boxes are all sealed with plastic tapes before putting on the
shelf, they said they want to avoid customers damaging the seals, but he didn't
elaborate clearly.
I'm wondering why some people want to damage the seal of Lego box before
they checkout, what's their purpose? To check the contents? To steal the
contents? That doesn't make sense, CCTV is everywhere, and they have many
other products more expensive than Lego, why not sealing other products?

| If you intend to keep the set unopened for very long time, will you wrap the
sides of the box with tape to enhance its isolation with the outer environment?
I think it is a great idea but the downside is it is very likely to damage the
box if you peel off the tape one day, what is your view?

I am very turned off by an announcement of a sale only to find out that the original
prices are so high, that the "sale" is negated. Has there ever been a discussion
about having a special category of sale that is tied to the 6-month average...and
therefore you would know if the sale is enticing enough. Perhaps the sale title
could include ***XX% SALE off of 6MA***.
