The old boat sets always mentioned that there were model motors not made by LEGO
that could be added to the sets and the hulls were equipped with attachment points
for them. Does anyone know what they were referring to or has anyone ever seen
one of these motors? The double hull speedboat set is the only one I know of
that came with a motor (made by LEGO) and the newer city themed boats no longer
have the attachment points and don't mention them.

This has been mystery to me since I was a kid, and now with a pretty extensive
boat collection myself and the power of the internet I still can't find them
referenced anywhere.

This one maybe 48064c01

I remember my young childhood days playing in the bathtub with boats that had

. My neightbor friend had a motor that could attach to the bottom of
these keels. I always thought the handle bar at the bottom was intended for just
this purpose. Unfortunately I don't know more about the motor.

Are these lego parts or I can throw them away once for all?

Thank you very much.

Dont think they are lego.
Similar design to Lego 1x1 round plate with hole.
