So I was rebuilding a 2014 AT-AP (75043) and using some instructions from a previous
AT-AP when I discovered that in the back of the instructions the Wolfpack clone
trooper looks more like the 212th clones in 75036 than the real-life Wolfpack
clone (sw0537) in 75045 which looks like the 501st clone in 75002. Is there a
version like this anywhere or was this a mistake?

Thanks,
BrickCollection.

Hi,

I have tried to place the base plate as roof as per pictures attached but I keep
getting the incompatible error message.

Can anyone guide me on this? Thanks

A while ago I shared a "restoration" of the Ecto 1 back to its original 1984
Cadillac Fleetwood hearse incarnation.

https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1257201

The recent Batmobile set inspired me to do the same for Adam West's sweet
ride. As far as I could tell the original 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car was
white or possibly light pea soup green (it's hard to tell from the old photos).
I found lots of photos of people's own concepts cars in a rainbow of colors
and red looked the sharpest so I went with that.

Even though I tried to stay close to the original LEGO design, this project wasn't
as easy* as I initially thought it might be. I had to significantly rework the
front and back ends and raise the body by half a plate so the wheels would clear
the new wheel wells (the Batmobile added a fender whereas the original Futura
really didn't have much of one). Undoing the enormous rocket booster was
also a challenge.

I'm still not totally satisfied with the back end (I've tried a number
of variations), so if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them. Overall
though it was a fun little distraction!

* and what's the deal with this part?

Part No: 3938 Name: Hinge Brick 1 x 2 Top Plate
*
3938 Hinge Brick 1 x 2 Top Plate
Parts: Hinge {Red}
It hasn't been produced in red in 10 years! I didn't think such an unassuming
piece would be so difficult to acquire. Finding a seller with 6 in stock was
a challenge.

Hello everyone,

since I am quite new here, I am not even sure this is the right forum, if not,
please tell me.

I recently acquired 2 sets 6098, both sealed, but one has written age "8 - 12"
while the other one has "7 - 12". I found images of both versions online, but
not whether there are any more differences or if one is more rare than the other.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Hi everybody,

just have a look at my 12V train motor. It melted from inside until it stopped
running.

Wow cannot restart ist, think it is trash.

I used to run the disney train in my load storefront permanently, so i need any
ideas/experiences how long i can run these motors without trashing another one?
Will try to put the next on a timer.

Maybe there is also a way of cleaning or oiling those motors for a better run,
i have no experiences with that.

Some infos on how to proceed would be gladful.

Best regards
Pierre

I have to say the chessboard looks nice. But why they decided to make a Lego
chessboard all smooth on top is beyond me. And no lip around the edge, so don't
try to carry the thing with chessmen on top... Unless you want to build them
again.

an unrecognized variant that ought to be added to the catalog, along with his
head.

Trying to sell my entire store as I do not have the time for it anymore and it
has been closed for almost 2 years.

Is there an easy way to make my entire store a superlot?

Also I have a bunch of sets that are not in inventory that I was going to sell
separately. I got stuck on the upload image part of creating a "bulk lot" item

Store has a "current inventory average" value of 153k and sets have a "current
inventory average" of 60k, looking to get 75k for both or 30k for sets and 50k
for store OBO.

Any tips would be helpful

Thanks,

Joe

In studio the colour in the title exists. Does it exist in the real world? I
want to create the effect of a flint wall.

I recently got a Flying Time Vessel in a lot, and it is all glued together! The
glue does seem particularly strong, as much of the set has come apart on its
own and I see no broken pieces, it's also possible to scrape and pull off
bits of glue from some of the pieces.

I was thinking of trying hot water or alcohol, but thought I would first ask
here if anyone has any sure fire methods for getting glue off of parts.

Hello everyone,

I want to start building and I am not sure if I should build with regular plates
as the base or should use base plates.
What are your thoughts?
What do you think are the pros and cons?

Thanks

I found a white torso with a plain back and large black lettering on the front
spelling NEW YORK, the "o" in york is a red apple.
I searched through all 15 pages of white torsos and couldn't find it....maybe
a custom job?
It is printed on the torso, Not a sticker.
Anyone????
