I would of said dark nougat too but you're right that it doesn't exist.
Is it brown?
Definitely a Lego piece?

The "Known Colors" list is a misnomer because it is populated automatically by
the system *only if* the item in question is included in an inventory. Since
this gear item is not part of any inventories, the list will not be populated.
There is nothing that the Catalog Admin team can do about that.

Cheers,
Randy

Sky Blue was known long before Medium azure arrived, that's why they are
separate colors.

Same situation, different historical route.

This post perfectly sums things up concerning the colors.

Personally I'd keep them separated (and would like the others, the pinks,
the violets etc, to be separated asswel). Sky Blue is noticeably lighter than
Medium Azure, for me at least.

The colours are barely different and it sure is difficult to tell them apart
for common parts… but they are different colours:
— BL Sky Blue = LEGO Dove Blue, code 232, production years: 2004-2007
— BL Medium Azure = LEGO Medium Azur, code 322, production years: 2012-
http://www.ryanhowerter.net/colors.php

There are few opposite examples for different Lego colors that was merged to
one color in BL like 112 Medium Bluish Violet and 219 Lilac- they are both called
in BL Medium Violet, or 22 Medium Reddish Violet and 221 Bright Purple- they
are both called in BL Dark Pink.
So why we don't do it with Medium Azure and Sky Blue? They are much closer
from the other colors I mentioned.

I want to understand the logic behind it.

There’s a few colours like that that were “specialized” and more or less short-lived
and were “almost resurrected” as newer, more generic colours (e.g. Maersk Blue).
Practically, the only way to be sure is to know the origin of the parts.

At least on monkey parts yes its a known issue - probably just down to different

I've had them in the past like that from sets 6270 and 6285 which are the

According to the inventory the body of the monkey did come in both Reddish Brown
and Brown.

Part No: 2550 Name: Monkey Body

2550 Monkey Body

It is hard to tell from the picture, but it does appear that you have a RB body
with Brown legs. I have one from

*
6290-1 (Inv) Pirate Battle Ship {Red Beard Runner Reissue}
677 Parts, 7 Minifigures, 2001

and can confirm that even though the legs (minifig arms) are more glossy
in finish, they are closer in color for a full Brown fig than what you picture
is showing.

Here is a list of all known colors for certain masks released in different sets
between 2001-2004. This list contains masks from sets, gear and the various supplemental
mask packs. There are a few more masks I've left out due to their origin
being unkown but there are theories suggesting they are prototypes those being
a Brown 32572 Bionicle Mask Komau and a White 32573 Bionicle Mask Huna. Below
you'll find the list and a Clarifyr for how to interpret the list:

a university student, otherwise I would have added them myself. However felt

LEGO does not consider them a different color, and BrickLink is not going to
differentiate them. If you want to separate them in your store like some separate
the various shades of Pearl Gold, then that is up to you.

Does anyone have a worn one that exposes the color of the plastic? From this
picture a seller uploaded, I'm thinking maybe it's trans clear, but without
a worn one in hand I can't really tell.

Yes, they are now beginning to use a transparent ABS: MABS.  It seems it’s still
a bit cloudy (when coloured).

  Hi all!

Set No: 76175 Name: Attack on the Spider Lair
*
76175-1 (Inv) Attack on the Spider Lair
437 Parts, 6 Minifigures, 2021
Sets: Super Heroes: Spider-Man

This is the first time that happen to me this fact.
In the instructions there are showed 18x Tile Round 1x1 in Trans Yellow but checking
better you can see how 16 of 18 are completely different from the standard Trans
Yellow.

In my picture you can see:

1) Slopes and plates in trans yellow
2) a group of tiles where the first two are trans yellow and below there are
two plate in Trans Neon Green for comparision.

I think that it could be probably due to a different composition of the material
but how I can consider them in the inventory...and most of all, in the shop?

Cheers,
Mirko

Brittle Blue or yellowed blue.

Thanks! I don't see that listed as a selection for colours when ordering parts.. Is it a rare colour?

"Brittle Blue" means the parts are of very bad quality. Actually the name explains
everything...

It's not that it's rare, it's that it's not an official color.
I think there is a market for brittle blue pieces but yellowed blue parts are
just blue parts that have yellowed over time.

Milky White is available in 2x4 and 2x6 only, but that is a non-released special
part that is costly. It is a translucent color and for these bricks even slightly
glittery. It looks different in real life from how this photo shows the color.

For a mosaic, you could use the 1x1 plates in Very Light (Bluish) Gray to extend
your shades of gray.

Don't mix the old and newer shades of gray in one build, unless your intention
is to roughen up the look. They are not lighter or darker, just warmer / yellower
/ aged more.

Thanks for the help!
I'm using 1x1 round tiles, but they don'ìt seem to come in very light
(blusih) gray

Sand blue might be an intermediate.....

Trans-black, dark brown...

If the pieces you need are available in Sand Blue, it might be an option.

Unfortunatley I also have used sand blue for other parts of the mosaic.
I need another grey to fill up what should have been 2 more greys in the project.
But thanks for the tip anyway

I don't think that light gray is intermediate between light bluish gray and
dark bluish gray though. It's different but not *that* different (and it's
not always easy to tell the difference between them). I don't know that there
is a color that is really in between the two, aside from a few parts that might
be described as "medium gray" or "medium bluish gray".

Yes I guess it's not, but it was in the site color list I based my project
on.
I'm thinkin that maybe flat silver might be the solution?
Or is that too "metallic" a finish?

If the pieces you need are available in Sand Blue, it might be an option.

  I've found this reference image.
You'd think they are all in production, but I guess this is where I was wrong
all along!
Is milky white even available?
