They are listed under gear, then games.

  Hello,

not sure if this is the correct forum, but I would like to know how I can list
my LEgo board games for sale.

3856 Ninjago Board Game
3841 Minotaurus Board Game
3843 Ramses Pyramid Board Game

I cant find the catalog entries so i cant upload them. Is there some trick?
All these nummers are also assigned to some single lego parts.

thx for any help,
Bellafux

Not sure I've ever seen any that I would truly call smooth, not saying they
don't exist but it won't bother me if they are all under one listing.

We're considering eliminating separate catalog entries for smooth slopes
for a number of different reasons and are seeking feedback from the community
on the decision. This change would primarily effect the five catalog entries
shown above.

Please share your thoughts.

You need Brown and Light grey from BL.

What you received from Lego are Reddish brown and light blue grey here on BL.

  Hey Bricklink Community,

I am in the middle of getting pieces that I am missing from my Lego sets I have
had since I was a kid. I ordered a bunch of pieces from the Lego Store. 5 pieces
I need are 4 grey pieces and 1 brown. The ones I got from the Lego Store are
not the right color of grey or brown. The grey medium stone grey and brown reddish
brown.

The sets I need the pieces for are from the 90's. On toysperiod.com they
say the pieces that I need are old grey and old brown. As I look through the
stores on this site I'm not sure which color name they fit under. If anyone
can help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Matthew

Always worth asking, nice to see others picking up on differences, I've seen
a number of differences on the bases of these bricks in the past.

I came across some old Duplo bricks and do see where the catalog entry lists
differences for the variations on the connections underneath. Is there merit
in mentioning the 'Pat Pend' connection as it is drastically different?

Does it classify as '3011old'?

You can add it to your listing, there are a few collectors, but not enough to
warrant a seperate 3011old listing.
And if you want to do it right, you also need to list the logo inside the studs

Cheers,
Maxx

I agree with Maxx. There is no structural difference about this brick, besides
the notification of 'pat pend'. Which makes it not a candidate for a
seperate Catalog entry. We've tried that ourselves years ago.. many years
ago

But yes there are some 'pat pend' collectors, and also, if you want to
complete a set from that time period it is always nice to have bricks from that
period too!

Cheers2,
Arnoud

Thanks guys, they caught my eye with the radically different slotted connection
tubes, that's what prompted me to at least ask!

Thanks, changes and dates noted.

In Catalog, StormChaser writes:
NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES TO PARTS 4623 AND 88072

Part No: 4623 Name: Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Bar Arm Up (Undetermined Type)
*
4623 Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Bar Arm Up (Undetermined Type)
Parts: Plate, Modified
[P=88072]

Members have recently identified two problems with these part variant entries:

1. The additional notes need to be updated.
2. Part 4623 comes in both 5 MM and 6 MM horizontal arm length versions.

A member has submitted a request for us to take action.

What changes will happen?
1. The title of Part 4623 currently in parentheses will be changed to
read "Undetermined Arm Length," but the part will not immediately be marked for
deletion.
2. A new catalog entry will be created with the part number 4623a and
the title "Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Arm Up (Horizontal Arm Length 6mm)."
3. Part 88072 has 4623b as an alternate item number. The primary number
(88072) and alternate item number (4623b) will be switched for this part.
4. The additional notes for all three entries will be updated for brevity
and ease of comprehension.

When will these changes occur?
All four changes are planned to occur between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM CST
on July 8th, 2020.

Why are these changes necessary?
The changes are necessary because Part 4623 comes in both 5 MM and 6 MM horizontal
arm lengths. The catalog does not currently recognize this fact and some inventories
include incorrect part variants.

How will these changes affect BrickLink members?
Sellers should move their for-sale listings from the undetermined entry to either
4623a or 4623b as soon as reasonably possible after the July 8th changes. Members
who object to one or more changes should immediately provide input with clear
reasons for their objections.

They keep turning up in small quantities, I've had some.

I listed them under light grey and added a a note in the comments for buyers
to see.

The left one is light gray for sure, the right one isn't light bluish gray
or dark gray or flat silver. So could also light gray in a different variation?
Thanks!

  Hi Wouter,

Nice to hear from you, hope you are keeping safe an well.

I agree, there are too many variations to list, it would be nice but it would
overwhelm the catalogue.

I also suspect that if we looked at many more parts, the same would apply.

The 3001old with 3001 underneath would be an interesting oddity in the catalogue,
just to name one.

That is certainly an oddity
The main reason to include it in the catalog is so I can find more!
(If people find any, let me know!)

It could be nice to include the version with split tubes. But only for people
looking for bricks from that specific time period, as far as I know there is
no functional difference.

Personally, I think that I would not include 3001oldf1 or 3001f1 in the catalog.
I use them now we have them, and there is a visual difference that some people
might care about because they are used for transparent parts. Solid color parts
have the same inner surfaces, but we simply use 3001old or 3001 for those because
you can't see them.

I've recently discovered. All of these variants were undocumented on BrickLink

Part No: 3001 Name: Brick 2 x 4

3001 Brick 2 x 4
Parts: Brick

I can probably provide at least 20 variations of these molded lines on the inside
of 2x4 bricks. As a collector of 2x4 bricks, I think that these mold details
are to small and to variable to mention in our catalog.
