I think I've decided that when it comes to TLG there are no rules.

Total Anarchy. I just opened MISB and built the Detective's Office
a few weeks ago. My extras don't agree with BrickLink or Rebrickable.
While I agreed with 2 extra Red
I also have 2 extra
and 3 extra
I have the ability to note any differences in my personal inventory at Rebrickable.
It's up to you if you want to change the set to reflect this at BrickLink.

Source for original inventory was given as set instructions. Therefore, submitter could not have known whether 4032 or 4032b was included. Numerous changes have already been made to this inventory to correct errors.
The year 2011 is currently the last year for 4032b and this set is one of only 4 sets in which it appeared that year.
Additionally, a sealed set appears to show that 4032 was included instead of 4032b. This can be seen here:

My personal opinion is that 4085b probably wasn't really found in 2018, but with no way of proving it I am taking the middle road. I parted out 3 and got all D's.

5 extra light blue round plates included into this set, but only 3 bags with
these

Though this set is hardly “normal,” with all the water round plates needed (284).
It isn’t unbelievable that “rules” for bags of mixed bricks with a couple of
round plates aren’t the same than the ones for special bags with dozens of them.
Now, what I think is that TLG noticed we had their rules figured, so they randomly
change them.

One red 4073 is in one of bags numbered '1', two red 4073 are in one
of bags numbered '2'. Normaly Lego add one extra of part 4073 per bag
(of course there are exeptions like in some 2017 sets), so from this logic there
should be two extra only (part is in two bags). Here I also see only two extra

So you found in your set one more extra red 4073 is this correct? Just want to
