These are the wrong wheels for the set, as can be seen by the PCC 4299119 in the parts list, their appearance on the box, instructions, and other images, and the fact they must attach using a pin connection, not an axle.

In the instructions the light looks green, but the PCC in the parts list links to light blue. I am not convinced the submitter who changed this was working from an actual set. All the images I have seen of this set assembled (both official and unofficial) clearly show trans light blue. It doesn't make any sense, either, to have a green light on a road vehicle.
The second Raikkonen helmet is visible in the instructions - it sits in the far right corner of the shop in a special display area. See p. 51 (4514156 or 4524010).

The links can indeed get me what I'm after but the point was that I would
find it helpful if I didn't have to use the links and could just go to the
main thread and read the full chain of replies without having to leave the page.
This can be done even now but as I pointed out earlier the replies get clipped
off after they get too long and thus you cannot stay on the main thread to read
everything. Instead, you end up having to go chase down the replies one at a
time to read the whole thing.
In a typical forum, you would click a topic/post to see the original post and
all of its replies. You can then read the entire reply and all that follow it
till the end of the thread. Everything is available on that one page unless paginated
In this forum, you click a topic/post, get to read the original post, and then
get what amounts to a preview of each reply with links that can take you to the
reply so you can read it. Here only part of the thread is available on the main
page and the rest gets secreted away into "reply" pages that you have to go dig
through individually to get the whole picture.
I would just like to see all of the replies made viewable and readable by way
of the primary post/thread similar to how a normal forum would as outlined above
There could still be "reply" pages as they have them now. I just want to see
the character count restriction lifted for the replies on the main thread so
that the full reply is visible instead of the current partial reply with a link.
Hopefully, this makes sense

There are too many changes between set versions to try to include both in a single inventory (37 different lots the last time I checked). However, for the few changes that do happen to be reflected, they should at least be correct. There are three suitcases in each version, 2 red and 1 yellow in the first, and 3 black in the second.

The A version of the part is by all accounts an outlier, and when looking at the change log for Oct 1 2012, we can see this line has been subject to one of those "double changes" where the log does not accurately reflect the intentions of the submitters.
In any regard, there have been that many changes to the original inventory that we should not hold on to any original variants too tightly.

May I ask what the difference is on this 'Inside with ribs' torsos compared
to the same torsos that are 10 years old?

The original torsos first appeared in 1994, so those are ~23 years old. The torsos
back then had short ribs inside the torso (like a jumper with bottom stud holder)
instead of the long ribs that appeared around 1998 and continue into today. Therefore,
there would be no difference between a modern torso and one 10 years ago, but
there would be a difference between a modern torso and the original version of
this torso. I believe this helps to set up a nice precedent to get more modern
torsos with classic prints into the catalog, so that vintage minifigs and modern
minifigs both have the proper torso mold for the time period they were released.

I was surprised to see these torso variations make in into the catalog. Before
these are added to inventories, a close look needs to be taken at the complexities
of the early torso, meaning that there are both no ribs and short ribs, and 3
different kinds of hands, all in the space of the earliest few years (1978-1983).
This is a far cry from the minifig head situation, which has three distinct eras,
each of which is large enough to make a complete transition from one type to
the other. And the head is of singular importance in Lego, and IMO is worthy
of special treatment.

If the DBG plates are handled as recommended in my previous post on this inventory,
the removal of the Match ID from the black 1 x 2 plate line should solve the
problem entirely.
After studying what went wrong here:

I knew there had to be another mistake, because I had lined up the piece counts
for the two versions and they matched:

So, the root of the problem - a Black plate 1 x 2 was removed instead of a DBG
plate. Easy mistake to make with the colors as printed in the instructions. But
all four versions of instructions show the plate in Black being added on p. 75
(or p. 79 for the 3-language version). It is the same color as the lever, and
that only comes in black in this set.

I just opened this set and I have 6 of these in total. The instructions say I should have 4. (2 for each dalek). I am assuming these are extras or possibly a mistake in my set as I have never seen 2x2 plates used as extras before.

This request is correct for the second version of the set. The Regular section

Duplo string by definition should always be thick. It is thick enough to be grasped by a minifig hand, and it is nowhere near the size of medium string that is used for special purposes on ships or in heavy duty Technic applications.
Trouble with gauging this string likely stemmed from images with Duplo-sized studs.

Most of these changes can be traced back to the fact that this inventory was
orginally just a copy of the reissue:

The 4 Gray 2 x 2 plates are a leftover adjustment from the changes to the track.
The flower stem is simply a counting error (forgetting the flower inside). The
Red flower is a clerical error in the transfer to sprues. Admin did it correctly
in the reissue.
The black round bricks are a problem, though, and I would try to consult with
someone who had an original set before changing these. I see 5 barrels moved
away from the wall and now holding the baseplates together. The electronic data
from the reissue has 6, as well as an MISB reissue inventory on Peeron.
However, there are also problems with the reissue such as the 1 x 3 blue bricks
and 1 x 6 blue bricks which were apparently retained from the original set but
are unused in the reissue.

Thanks for fact-checking me on this; it's much appreciated, and I don't
100% trust my old eyes anymore...
I don't have the reissue set handy, so I can't verify the correct number
of black round 2x2 bricks in 10041. I do have the original instructions for
6390, and I can only find the one inside the car shop (used as a flower pot)
and the stack of 3 outside the hotel windows in the final completed set page
(and I can only spot 4 in the "completed hotel" picture on the back cover, too).
I would not be surprised if the reissue has more, but these are two different
sets and should maintain their own correct inventories.
If someone can spot the missing 2x2 black rounds in the 6390 instructions, or
otherwise show that the original 6390 actually had 6 total of these pieces, then
I'll retract this request. Otherwise, we should update the inventory to
be correct to the 6390 instructions.

I've looked into this more closely and I believe you are correct about the
black 2 x 2 round bricks. They don't appear anywhere, and in the instructions
I can see how they could also clearly mean 4. And even with the other 2 removed,
we are still +1 on the 568 piece count:
Current Break Minifigs Total: 592
heads: minus 8
wheels: minus 8
2 x 2 gray plates: minus 4
2 x 2 black round bricks: minus 2
sticker: minus 1
string: minus 1
yellow flower sprue: minus 1
green flower stem: plus 1
red flower sprue: plus 1
Adjusted total: 569
So unless anyone can find them in set, I would just chalk this up as another
anomaly in the reissue, right along with the extra 1 x 3 and 1 x 6 bricks.

There is an "extra" LBG grill in the later version of the set, i.e. the one that
uses a 1 x 4 hinge for the boat cockpit canopy instead of two 1 x 2 hinges.
Please see the parts list images below.
Also, this is attested by a Brickshelf file of a brand new set showing the extras.
The only tricky thing is that the builder has chosen to use a black grill on
the cockpit canopy, and put two LBG ones on the boat engine. But the totals remain
the same - 9 LBG grills and 2 black ones.
The system won't allow me to put a match number on an extra part, but perhaps
it should be listed as a alternate beside the 1 x 4 hinge. It would have always
been in the set since it was listed in the parts list. The reason it is there
is undoubtedly to preserve the 301 official piece count so Lego didn't have
to print a new round of boxes.

I just looked at the standard old and new instructions more closely and it looks
like there is a 5th one in the new neck. The other 4 are used on pages 62, 64,
70, and 72 of both instructions. Does your page 82 look like one of the ones
below? (see attached images)
The parts list of the new instructions also shows 5 spacers. I don't know
why I didn't see this before. This is one case where I *have* already compared
the parts lists - must have been a late night! […]

Dang! You’re right!
I (should¹) have 6 of them (5 + 1 extra).
Maybe I shouldn’t combine BL’s regular and extras in my inventory database before
I check if I have all the extras 
¹ I’m not 100% sure because, even if fortunately, I hadn’t yet put all my extras
in my stock but, unfortunately, they are mixed with other not-stocked-yet extras….

I pulled together a chart just to confirm everything (see first image below).
There are 42 parts "replaced" by 41 parts, so that reduces the official piece
count by 1.
And sure enough, TLG released another box with a different count. So there is
a 677 count for the first release, and 676 for the late version (see images 2
and 3). The brick separator boosts the current regular inventory up to 677.

I did it after having built it (I always check extras after building;
I’m not the sort-the-parts-first type ), so I mainly used the inventory at
the end of the instructions, and lots of scribbles on a piece of paper.

official piece count for the set. As long as TLG adds to the total there would
be no false advertising, but if 16 Medium Blue plates had been replaced by 8
White plates, the piece count would drop by eight.

There are 3 of part 4032 on page 10: 1 on each engine and 1 more on the tail.

I think you're right about the levers, though. There are 3 of each listed

As long as the source is reliable, I agree with making the change instead of
adding an alternate. The part was recently changed to the C type based on the
another 1993 set that requires the C type, and the unreliability of the B type
initially being placed in this inventory.

Not every lot. Especially if it's a piece that is in a lot of sets, sometimes
it's not worth the time to count out every lot.
The example I gave in the reply I just posted above wasn't arbitrary. I parted
out 24 of set 70751 (temple of airjitzu) on Dec 9, 2015. That set has 1965 parts,
13 mini figures, 447 lots, 51 lots as extra items, 17 lots as counterparts, and
4 lots as alternates. It was inventoried on August 26, 2015, confirmed on Oct
3, 2015, with 9 logs of inventory changes. 3 of those inventory changes occurred
after I parted it out.

Nothing of consequence changed since you parted out:
Jan 9, 2016 - Treasure Chests moved to counterpart. This saved you the extra
step of assembling 48 treasure chests. But it didn't cause a problem with
a buyer.
Feb 3, 2016 - Spear to specific version. No buyer problem here either. And in
case you would like to use the determined entry, you *were* notified about this
when the undetermined spear entry was marked for deletion.
Mar 16, 2016 - large arch becomes new type. I don't believe there is any
functional difference, just that the newer one has more reinforcements underneath.
And strictly speaking, I do believe the older one is an umbrella entry that includes
the other one:
Part 14707 Brick, Arch 1 x 12 x 3 Raised Arch
Part 18838 Brick, Arch 1 x 12 x 3 Raised Arch with 5 Cross Supports
I am all for an efficient notification system, but I do think sometimes people
get worried about things that don't end up happening. Did you have any buyers
complain about something traced to this partout?
