| So step 3 of becoming a seller is proof of identification. In the list of what
they accept as proof they label driver license, passport or identity card. I
provided my drivers license thinking that is enough since that is what they ask
for. The website will not accept it even though it is not expired and it also
shows my birth date. I am unsure if I should trust this website because of this
issue.

| Are you sure that it wasn’t accepted and if so, how do you know that was the
case? Your seller status is green, which suggests all you have to do now is open
your store and get started. You can open your shop in the “My Store” settings.

As far as trusting this website is concerned, BrickLink is trustworthy; you can
take my word for it…
Did they give a reason why your driver's license was not accepted? You do
have to be at least eighteen years of age to have a BrickLink account, even if
you have a valid unexpired driver's license showing your date of birth.
It could also be some stupid technical reason that has nothing to do with your
proof of identification (e.g. image size is too big, image is in the wrong format),
and therefore "the website will not accept it".
But as Carissa pointed out, you already have a storefront, so you may not be
as far from selling as you think. It may be a simple matter of opening your store.
