| Is anyone else having an issue trying to get an account verified? Mine has been
siting in the Pending Approval state since December 15th. Does anyone know if
there is anything else I can do?

| nothing else except wait. currently, it seems to be a 3-4 week wait. After the
November incident bricklink has been massively backed up and that in combination
with multiple holidays in December has created a long backlog

| And while waiting for the approval, take a look at your store terms
Shipping Policy: Bock's Bricks only ships to the United States.
Store Ships To: All Countries Worldwide
Shipping Methods:
"If an error with the order is found, and we cannot work out a reasonable
solution, buyer pays return shipping and the purchase price for the items returned
will be refunded. There will also be a 10% restocking fee for returned items."
So you, as seller, make a mistake that you cannot resolve, you want the buyer
to pay for all shipping and deduct a 10% fee?
I'm not sure how well that goes with potential buyers.
"After the shipment has been made, Bock's Bricks is no longer responsible
for damage during the shipping process."
Seller is held accountable for the order until buyer states it has been received
(in good order).

It really makes you wonder what goes through people's minds when coming up
with terms like that. It drives people away, and if they did buy from them and
there is an error, straight into a PayPal claim.

| I appreciate the comments all. I will take a look at those for sure. First
time trying this and I wasn't exactly sure how all that wording should go.
Rookie mistake Thanks again.

Nothing. Either they copy or borrow their terms from other stores, or they simply
make up their own terms without consideration for the terms of service of BrickLink
and PayPal, consumer protection regulations of California and the European Union,
and unwritten community standards that are neither explicitly stated nor enforced.
I have had a few less-than-perfect buying experiences on BrickLink, but I simply
learned from it and moved on. I did not escalate the situation by leaving neutral
or negative feedback or opening a case with PayPal or my bank. I am not perfect
and I do not expect anyone else to be, either.
