the common superglues...
But as mentioned earlier, maybe try to acquire two new parts first, that would
be easier.

| I recently took apart my Fire Brigade modular set that I had had on display for
years. It appears that the Fire Brigade set was made while TLC had a problem
making dark red parts that ended up being brittle—at least the 1X1 tiles in the
set. 2 of them broke right in half diagonally when I took the set apart.
Does anyone know what type of glue would be best for repairing such parts? I
have some super glue that contains cyanoacrylate. Are there certain ingredients
that I should look for or avoid?
Thanks,

pgremeau, you said that you had better luck with glue that contained cyanoacrylate,
which was what I also had, so I tried some on the tiles. I'm happy to report
that the cyanoacrylate-containing glue seems to have done the job well. The
tiles go onto a stud with the same clutch power as a normal tile.
Also pgremeau, thank you for being the only person who actually gave me an answer
to the question I asked.
