Hello all! this may be a pointless post but I was curios if there is anything
I should do about this. I am new to being a seller within the last 4 months and
strive to make sure every order is properly taken care of. I have 62 positive
reviews but one neutral today came in that doesn't make much sense to me.
They wrote, "Came in great, no communication though.". I sent this package
same day, changed the status to shipped immediately, and the buyer received it
fine within a few days of placing the order. I really want to keep reviews positive,
is there something I could have done differently, I never received any messages
or emails from the buyer, any advice would be appreciated, Thank you!

Hello,

Sorry that you got this very unfortunate feedback. Keep in mind that many buyers
do not understand that Neutral feedback around here is anything but Neutral.

As far as communication goes, the only message I send to my buyers who use Instant
Checkout is the Thank you! Drive Thru! with their tracking number included. Is
this something you do as well?

You could write a quick message to your buyer apologizing that their expectations
were not met, and ask what you could've done better. Include a link to the
Feedback removal page and ask them kindly to reconsider. If they don't then
I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Good luck,
~Jen

All of that but I would do this in two steps. In the fist message, I won't
give a link to remove feedback but just asked if he sent any message and how
they sent it because I did not receive any message?
Or if you missed any message from him, just apologize....

I always send a message (Thank you for buying this I will mail it to you ....)
In the listing I put: "I ship same day or next except when the post office
is closed or in the event of nuclear war or alien invasion."
They then know I am aware of the order and they get a little warm fuzzy feeling.
I ship same day or next so I tell them on what day I am sending their order.
Very important to ship the day you said you would

The other seller they bought from (twice) gave them freebies each time. I wonder
if that could be the reason.

1. Respond to the feedback thanking them for the order
2. Start sending drive thru's to customers letting them know it shipped
3. Let the buyer know how it affects your feedback (peacefully)

I had a couple of buyers complain that I sent too many emails (I had sent 1 email
with tracking info). So I stopped doing even that. Now I just add the tracking
number to order details and ship it out. You can't please everyone and unfortunately
you got hit with a nit-picky customer. Nothing you can do.
