| Buyer paid before they realized I missed that they requested signature confirmation
on their order.
Like many others, I primarily use first class USPS for all shipping orders under
1lb in the US to help save on shipping costs. I missed that the buyer wanted
to have signature confirmation when I invoiced their order last night.
They paid for the item and probably realized after the fact that the ~$5 shipping
probably didn't include the signature confirmation charge ($3.25 on this
order). They then messaged me again after the fact where I noticed that they
had mentioned it in the comment section.
At this point I'm trying to figure out my options. I think it's to either
eat the shipping charge or refund the transaction and take a hit on the PP fees,
$1.50, for the order, plus hope they decide to reorder from me.
Question I have about the order, it's a 30+ lot order with about 300 items.
Would they have to repick everything to reorder from me or is their an option
to refund the amount paid and then instantly re-invoice the item?
I'm trying to follow what I understand to be the TOS about keeping billing
on BL and I wouldn't be able to invoice/bill for the remaining $3.25 via
PP directly. Plus I know I'd have to pay a separate transaction fee $0.30+
for that transaction.
As a newer store probably worth eating it as a cost of growing pains, thoughts?

| I would just eat the $3.25 if it is a big order, if not cancel and make them
pay again, but its easier just to eat the money.
Thanks, Noah

I would just eat it as a cost of learning. There are little things here and
there that we've all done and for $3, IMO it's not worth the hassle for
you or the buyer to send it back or refund. Just take it as a learning, include
it at your cost and move on.

You message them and thank them for the nice order. Let them know you paid for
the Sig Con as a small thank you LOL
