When a buyer messages me without placing an order why is it that Bricklink doesn't
show any user I.D? All I see is their email address?

What's the best way to look up a buyers user I.D with just an email address
to go on?

I think the username is in the footer of the email next to the email address
as well.

I'm equally bad at doing so. I found some settings the other day that I
changed that may help solve this. One of them was to have messages sent through
BL instead of opening Outlook.
