| I have two questions regarding how sellers determine the condition of their items.
From my experience buying from this site, one seller’s “great” might be another
seller’s “damaged”. Personally, I wouldn’t consider anything with any visible
wear, scratches, fraying, etc. to be in the good to great range. While most of
the items I’ve purchased have been in the condition described, there have definitely
been some outliers. How do you objectively determine the condition of your items?
Regarding minifigures, what are the guidelines as far as describing them as New
v Used? If a figure has been removed from a sealed bag and put directly into
a storage bag, is this “new”? If the minifigure was put directly into a display
case and has otherwise never been handled, is this considered new or used?
Thanks for your help

New if it’s from a sealed set and assembled or unassembled and put in a bag
for storage (displayed sometimes get away with new unfortunately) for me when
listing used figures or parts (some basic parts a little less exhaustive so I
write used condition may have minor damage) any damage I see I mention unless
it’s objectively very little (like those “marks” that aren’t marks but just are
the plastic stuff but even those I sometimes mention otherwise I just leave the
description blank
