Hi,

I received a payment for my first sale. I am located in the EU and will need
to ship to Norway. Since this is located outside of the EU, I will have to prepare
a document for the customs (through website of the shipping company).

Will the buyer need to pay any import duties or VAT?
I read that BL will collect these taxes?
In case he/she has to pay 25% VAT, does my buyer know this?
What happens if they do not want to pay this?

As a last resort, is it possible to cancel the order from my side and repay my
buyer, without having to pay the fee to stripe and BL for the sale (as it will
not take place)?

Thank you very much for your help!

Yes

Not for Norway

In case he/she has to pay 25% VAT, does my buyer know this?

He or she should definitely be aware of this

I'm not sure. It may be sent back to the seller.

I don't know about Stripe but if you refund the buyer in full you can then
cancel the order on BL so you don't have to pay fees.

Thank you for the information. I have just sent a message to the buyer to make
sure he is aware of the VAT payment. I don't know how to cancel the order
in BL, I only have the possiblity to change the status from 'paid' to
'shipped' or 'delivered'...
