Buying Privileges - OKSelling Privileges - Revoked

IV already submitted a ticket over a year or more ago with still not response
from BrickLink. I want to open a store or reopen this one getting straight to
what happened I will say the owner of this account became incapacitated rather
quickly during the pandemic (note related just giving a time frame) after a couple
revivals and help from one of their children the owner passed. With no access
to the account this cause multiple problems resulting in several orders not being
shipped and with understandably irate customers several bad reviews. These case
were all eventually reimbursed (through pay pal).

Second problem is I never got a ran for suspension from BrickLink or any advice
on how to fix it. I can guess it has to do with to many complaints but still
I would have thought BL would have deactivated my account is unreconcilable or
if not then what must be down to fix it.

Thirdly I can't even do inventory as I'm not allow to see it.

Forth BL is still trying to bill me for sales I very mad as well as those cancelled
and reemburced. I have no issue pay this fee as it is fairly low and would be
worth it to just move past this but it does not seam like BL are interested in
resolving this just getting money (I don't real owe them) and continually
ignoring me.

I tried opening a different account with all new credentials as I am a different
person but had buying privileges suspender after a week for being too similar.
The only similarity being part of the mailing addresses as we love in the same
street in a very small town.

SO MY QUESTION IS : WHAT CAN I DO IN THIS SITUATION.....I've bought the whole
lego collection from the previous owners estate and was give them store (if I
wanted it to use the name and everything from shipping to inventory having all
set up .
HELP PLEASE THIS VERY LARGE AND EXPENSIVE INVESTMENT THAT IS SO FAR A COMPLETE
LOSE.

TIA

This is a very sad story, very sorry.

The only way you could (maybe) regain seller priviledge is by discussing each
and every problematic order, one by one, and show a proof of full refund, and
pay BL fees.

I'm not sure it'll work anyway - there's too much IMO.

Second problem is I never got a ran for suspension from BrickLink or any advice
on how to fix it.

This is normal. Read the Terms/Help.
You're not supposed to ignore the rules.

3 completed NSS and the shop is closed, there's no warning.
Or if you wish, the first NSS is a warning, the second a problem, the third...

Thirdly I can't even do inventory as I'm not allow to see it.

This is a MAJOR concern I must admit.

BrickLink should either send the owner the full inventory in XML, or any other
proper format, or leave access to the inventory download page at least.

This is a VERY missing feature: many owners don't have ANY copy of what they
do on BrickLink, and they can't have their listing when closed.

Forth BL is still trying to bill me for sales I very mad as well as those cancelled
and reemburced.

No, BrickLink does NOT charge you for refunded and cancelled orders.

I tried opening a different account with all new credentials as I am a different
person but had buying privileges suspender after a week for being too similar.
The only similarity being part of the mailing addresses as we love in the same

You need to contact an Admin.

IF you refunded everything (and paid BL fees), you may be able to at least create
another account.
IF not, I'm sorry but I guess it'll be difficult...

It ain't gonna be easy
Good luck!

HTH?

Not super helpful but can you download your inventory with Brickstore in the
mean time?

I think you made the right move, creating a post that will hopefully gain some
attention.

Hi, congrats on starting your store.

Thing is, I don't think you can do it this way. I think it was discussed
many many years ago, you officially cannot buy an existing account. I'm pretty
sure it's done anyway, but opened stores, not a closed one.

- A seller's account is verified at the start, you, as a person were not;

- A Bricklink store is owned by Bricklink, legaly I can't give mine in my
will to my son, it isn't mine to give (we kinda lease them). If BL doesn't
want people to sell and buy stores, it's their choice;

- Those feedbacks aren't yours.

For all those reasons, I think you'll have to start with a new store with
1 feedback. You can still use Brickstore to manage your inventory.

Good luck.

Hello,

Unless you applied for and received permission to transfer ownership of this
account, it is not yours to run. BrickLink accounts are attached to their owners,
not their shops. Just giving over the email and password is not a legal transfer.
It's a little late now, but the only thing that you should have received
when 'buying' this shop was a .xml file of the inventory and the actual
stock.

I hope someone at the BL Helpdesk can help you close this account and register
a new one. File a Help Desk ticket explaining this calmly and clearly, make sure
you get a ticker number in reply, and then hope for the best.

This doesn't sound right. A different name at a different address and a different
email address should not have been suspended. If anything they would have merged
the accounts if they believed you were running two accounts.

Did you change any details of the original account, or have any transaction
between the two accounts?

I would guess it's the IP address?

Maybe if it is a very small place and they all share an internet connection and
IP address.

It just shows why they need to give users at least a basic reason for suspension.

Right near the top of the terms of service:
"You are limited to one (1) account on this Site unless we have granted you
permission to have additional accounts, such permission being in our sole discretion.
You may access the Site with your account credentials. You may not transfer or
sell your account or account credentials to another party."

It sounds like you admitted to violating this twice in your efforts to getting
the store back online. You purchased an account (strike 1) and then you opened
a new account while trying to also administer the improperly purchased account
(strike 2). You might try deleting all your accounts and start from scratch,
but not sure if this will work now that you've been flagged for violations.

Maybe sell on a competitor's site?
