| Been member here for 15 years serving with parts and rarities.
I had only 1 negative feedback from buyer in 14 years.
Unfortunately i got 2 undeserved new ones in 2022 because of people are unhappy
with the tax surprises in the new extremist europe.
It is just so annoying and there is nothing to do about it, is it?

not much to do about it unfortunately.
I think part of it is since if I'm not mistaken in Europe tax is built into
the price so they arent used to paying it as an extra cost maybe but yah its
unfortunate

"Europe" is more complicated than that. The issue here is an EU buyer
buying from a non-EU country, but is within the EEA.

Right, so an EU buyer would see prices without added VAT were he or she looking
at a Norwegian store. I guess the same if looking at an Icelandic store or a
store in Liechtenstein (although there do not appear to be any of these).

Much more, at some places, they don't have any Sun light for months!
But, erm it doesn't change anything to an order, I mean, I guess?

I don't know how BL is handling showing the prices for an EU buyer in this
store. Presumably if VAT is being added on and was a shock for the buyer, then
the buyer was assuming they were seeing VAT inc prices.

Concerning the negative feedback you received from the french buyer: did you
submit ELECTRONICALLY the IOSS number?
If not, this means that the buyer paid taxes twice and he is obviously upset
because he ended up paying taxes twice! If this is the case, it is indeed your
fault.
I don't have enough info about the details of the two orders who buyers left
you a negative feedback. But make it clear in your terms,...that they buy from
outside Europe and they have to pay taxes to Bricklink if the total is less than
150 euro and your responsibility ends by submitting the IOSS electronically and
attaching the inoivce to the package.
