I knew the theory/principle that is Ockham's razor, but Hanlon's razor?
Never heard of it. I appreciate the learning of it, though. Thanks.

YW.
I often see how it's true IRL.
But (for once) the Wikipedia EN isn't very developed.
Our French version (don't know why) is far more rich:

Or, simply google it and you'll many interesting reads about this.

Serendipity is my all time most favorite name in English.

I didn't even knew it exists in french - but it's apparently an English
created word, congratulations!

I can't be 100% sure, but that feature has been there for years. I wouldn't
know exactly when but at least the last couple of years.
Sometimes orders get stuck 'in progress' for 24 hours and then are cleared.
I would say that someone may get to the last confirmation page and then not
confirm so the order is stuck in limbo. Or perhaps there is a problem with paypal
with funds so again the order is stuck in limbo.

It's definitely been there a while - I only noticed it because someone had
an order "in progress" in my store a couple of times.

You'd almost pay for that? So, you'd go through the checkout process,
and then when you get to the last step before actually placing the order, you'd
change your mind, leaving the order stuck "in progress"?

Indeed, I was being sarcastic. Is not the whole point of BrickLink to make Wanted
Lists and then buy them? If your wanted list is small enough and the store is
large enough, then you may even be able to find a seller who can present you
with an "offer of completion"; i.e., an order containing your entire wanted list.
Though I do realize that the domestic market in Australia is a bit more limited,
and there are many BrickLink stores that do not ship to Australia. But then again,
there are many stores that don't support shipping to [insert U.S. state here].

I'd be careful what you say here on the forum, lest the admins suspend your
account on suspicion of fee avoidance. At the very least, upgrade to a seller
account so you have a decent alibi. You may even find that the fees are worth
the advertising!
