A few years ago I bought a large box of light grey / LBG unsorted.

The seller didn’t want to spend the time sorting one from the other, we all know
that’s not always easy especially with faded bricks mixed in.

Looking for anyone else who hasn’t sorted these and want’s to unload them, if
so, I’m interested.

I’ve plenty of time on my hands at present and need something to distract me
from feeling sorry for myself. .

Remember that modern parts post-2010ish will have semicircle mold markings on
their undersides. Dark Gray and Old Gray will never have these markings. Unfortunately,
grays from around 2012 tend to fade to an unreasonable degree, but keeping that
in mind has always helped me differentiate between Old Gray and a bad modern
Light Bluish Gray.

You're so soft.
You more than likely have all the tools for this job on hand.
I can barely tell the difference, but when they're side by side it's
relatively easy?
With your experience, I'd almost expect you to have a magnifying device and
confirmed versions of both colours.

Show us a picture of all those parts - I can only agree that it will be nightmarish...

I just use daylight and experience, some items are only found in light grey or
LBG and they’re obviously the easiest to start with.

Took some time to sort that lot I bought a few years ago and many parts have
sold.

Not everyone is happy sorting these or wants to spend the time comparing, if
so, I’m happy to buy bulk and sort it for resale or my collection.

Me, soft, never.

If you light them from behind, you may incur a superior experience

It takes a high amount of lumens for that to work. The sun seems good.

How did you go with that exactly?
Users ask for advice on this matter every single fifteen to twenty seven days.
Lol

No not really but im very picky with white parts as they can fade so easily.
