Hello,
I don't know what to do.
I have a small order to send to Germany and I don't want to join LUCID for
1 shipment per year (besides I'm going to delete this destination). Do you
think I can ship my small order or is it better to cancel it?
Thank you for your advice!

What is the value and would you take the financial hit if the package was returned
or destroyed for non-compliance of the law?

Personally, I wouldn't send it if I wasn't prepared to lose the value
of the items. This is why many smaller businesses will no longer ship items to
Germany. It is not worth paying the fees to join, so instead block all orders
from Germany.

Hi,

I hadn;t heard from this LUCID before. I see the point and cause of trouble.
As I read it, it applies to companies only. I guess you are a private seller,
so this would not affect you.

https://www.verpackungsregister.org/en/information-orientation/news-press/press-releases-news/detail/news/legal-amendments-effective-1-july-2022
:

"Every company that places packaged goods on the German market on a commercial
basis must have registered with the LUCID Packaging Register by 1 July 2022."

Kind regards,
Remko
