Interesting. Didn't you just this week, finally get your store set-up over
on Law's site?

Throwing in towel? Hope all is well otherwise, with you and yours.

Cory,

Mom is not well, and at 77, I need to be there (Kentucky), not selling plastic.
She moved 2400 miles away and I have not visited in almost 2 years. She is with
my sister, but my sister is getting tired/burned out of being the only caregiver.

I am going to keep my collection of sets, which is substantial, but I will not
have time for the store or to build with them.

Also, I am having technical issues here where buyers can not checkout, and we
all know how responsive Bricklink seller support is.

Other personal things are happening. It is all too much all at once to give the
service my customers deserve. I just invested over $10k into the store for Christmas
and now IDK - oh well, business is a risk, but it has been worth it up to this
point.

I feel if BrickLink doesn't start valuing AND supporting their sellers more
then Law's site will do very well.

If my store doesn't sell, I will keep it and maybe reopen later or start
building more.

-- John

Indeed, I would recommend keeping your inventory if you can. I don't foresee
the value of lego bricks going down anytime soon. That $113,000 worth of lego
may be worth a lot more than $56,000 in the future.

Uhhh excuse me, but it's the exact opposite.
For years (until now anyway) price of the LEGO parts have dicreased.

Right now you can find zillion of parts on BrickLink under the dollar cent or
euro cent.
LEGO PAB show parts at 0.04€ while it was at a minimum 6 or 7 euro cents couple
years ago.

In short, I don't foresee what you foresee - of course, I'm talking about
parts, not Boba Fett or ISD Sets

Well, unless the price of lego bricks drops by more than 50% then John will get
more money for his inventory if he sells the parts individually than if he sells
it all at once.
