| I am unsure whether or not these terms in a US store should be reported:
All orders also have an additional fee of 4.25% of the order total to account
for BrickLink and PayPal fees. If a fee is too large or unacceptable, feel free
to message and we can discuss alternative options (usually options are PayPal
F&F, Venmo, Direct Wire Transfer, etc)
Please advise.

PayPal F&F should be reported.
It's cancelling buyer's protection, forbidden by PP and BL.
Just for this, the Shop will be closed at least temporarily.
For the PP fees, I don't know in your Country, but AFAIK it's neither
authorized.

Right, fees that are specifically for PayPal aren't allowed in the US, but
you can add fees as long as they're the same for all.

| what if the store just rewords it to say " all orders will have an additional
4.25% added on to order total to cover Handling Fees"
Handling Fees are approved conduct.. right...?
other stores tack on extra costs to orders outside the bounds of automatic fees
to cover "fees"....
example from another store:
-- " If you already paid for an order, for every extra orders to be joined
to this one, we'll invoice you an 1.00€ additional fee (for accounting, work
and payment mode extra fees)"
just interesting is all...

This is fine.
Asking PayPal F&F isn't.

This is fine, and it IS an actual extra work.

Right, and neither are the other payment methods listed.

seems like the simple solution to this thread would have been to simply contact
the store & let them know to reword their terms... instead of pursuing a path
that causes their store to get shut down & publicly marrs their reputation..
because the former is what would have been the cool thing to do...
but that's just what i think....

| You dont have to go with that you can always look around at other stores if you
dont like those terms.
