There is a minor difference between two parts, it is in the insertion between
pinholes. For 42003 it has sharp corners, meanwhile the 42796 features smoothed
corners.

On pic applied, 42003 is gray, 42796 is green

We use alternate part numbers on BrickLink when the changes in the mold are not
significant enough to warrant a new entry. There must be a functional or striking
visual difference.
