Have a cape in the 522 form that has red on one side and dark red on the other,
but the dark red side almost feels leathery. Cannot find anything like it in
the catalogue. Anyone know what it is?

I have seen some that are custom but look authentic. Only difference is the leathery
feel. I might be wrong, that's just me trying to be helpful!

Probably fake. In the UK there is an ebay seller that cuts their own, exactly
the same sizes and shapes as genuine capes, but they use different materials.
One is a "PU leather" fabric, which sounds similar to yours.
