At least 2 of those feedbacks are from themselves on alt accounts (look at the
usernames). And 5 of the others are negative comments but sent as positives.

Thats not bad, if you get an order from a buyer with a -5 feedback you don't
waste any time on it. There is a lot more worse things as a seller than a clearly
NPB account.

| The best buyers are ones that pay, then don't complain when they receive
their order or worse still, chargeback without any communication. The best sellers
are ones that send what was ordered in a timely manner.
Whereas the worst buyers are ones that don't pay (not so bad), or pay then
complain and want refunds for nothing (worse). The worst sellers are the ones
that don't send anything, or send the wrong things or wrong conditions, or
send fakes.
Fortunately, in my experience there are far more great buyers and sellers than
bad buyers and sellers.

Agreed. Unfortunately many great transactions can be overshadowed by the attention
that the bad ones can get in the forum. Easily thousands of good ones for each
bad one!

| Best possible outcome is when no communication is needed basically it goes
Buyer places order - seller invoices - buyer pays - seller ships - buyer marks
as complete and leaves feedback - seller leaves feedback.

| I should add that (not sure it’s more so a Canadian thing) but when the buyer
places and order they say thankyou and then the seller messages back saying thankyou
also. I’ve probably had this happen over 100 times

If I did have a negative interaction with anybody, I wouldn't post about

I had one who took my order and gave me nothing but excuses for 6 weeks straight,
one of them literally says "Hi, I am cleaning out the backlogs, will get to you
by Monday"...and did nothing for 2 more weeks - I almost lost out on a commissioned
MOC and the fact that I had to go to other seller(s) for the shortfall ended
up costing me at least 25% more than the pieces are worth. I had to put the guy
on NSS for like 3 weeks and work with Paypal to get my money back. I don't
mind cancelled orders, bricks being lost on transit or a few days of delays,
but all of those unwarranted excuses and the resultant waste of time really ticked
me off.

Odd, almost all are bad buyers noted. Also, just wondering.
Worse for me were a seller from Belgium that sent messed up older bricks and
a copied instruction listed as real.
Two from France: I left out an item and mailed it out as soon as I was told,
airmail. Got a neutral. Technically, I deserved it. Probably the guillotine
was being used. Also, another French seller that sent damaged bricks and sent
me a negative because I complained. Yes, it was my fault he sent messed up damaged
elements.
The best is a former catalog admin who I sent an order when I first started selling.
I had no idea what I was doing and I was selling thousands of dollars every
day. Shipping was less or something was missing and I sent her a refund for
the entire amount around $350. Next day she told me and paid again. Take a
Brick if I remember. A gesture I will never forget.

My best sellers is basically my entire order list at the moment, still with a
few open orders. It's a long list because I'm desperate to finish a very
large model I started designing 20 years ago or thereabouts and I now own about
99% of the 67k+ parts. Desperate because I've just been told I've got
a couple months to live. Plus I've about 20 1500-part models of Australian
designed-and-built train rolling stock.
Why build it? Because I hope that others in my LUG will use them in displays
in the future, even if my family don't (but they might). Plus it's an
excuse to get my friends and family around and doing something together that
I love.
Some of the sellers I know, know this so have actually helped me track down some
of the parts in higher quantities to get them to me faster.
There have been issues with incorrect parts and so on with some orders (I seem
to continue to have more issues along those lines than most), but they've
all been corrected or refunded with my able to source the correct ones elsewhere.
Just waiting on shipping.
Best regards,
-J

Best and worst at the same time, long time ago, buyer orders, says they paid.
So I wait and wait, no money, I contact the buyer, money is on the way.
A week or so later, I get an envelope with $20, the order was $16 something.
I could keep the rest, told the buyer it would cost me over €10 just to exchange
the dollars to euros
Still shipped the order, put the $20 in a frame with the letter and it hung for
years over my computer.
Finally a friend of mine went to America, gave it to him.
Still love this, was almost 20 years ago.

he decided to put a few US nickels and dimes in the package...
