Granted, some sets really were bad (Speedorz most notably) but I liked
the emphasis on anthropomorphic animals and animal vehicles the theme had.

I write this because going back to collect more of the sets is a bit more difficult
than it used to be. I remember when stores would frequently clearance them to
try to get rid of them and sellers online would sell them for less than their
MSRP. I figure most people bought them at that time to part them out or to use
their parts in MOCs but I enjoyed the theme enough to end up with 75% of the
theme I paid less than MSRP for.

Now some of the sets are starting to go up a good deal past their MSRPs sealed
so I'm leaning more on the side of buying good used ones that still have
their boxes. Goes to show you even garbage sets can gain a bit of value if given
enough time.

My kids really enjoyed the speeders, same with Ninjago spinners.

They're decently entertaining if you've got enough hard floor space for
them. I only consider them bad because the sets had unique features that didn't
work correctly half the time.
