Hi, someone ordered something that I no longer have and he's agreed to proceed
without it. I've submitted an ordered item removal request but it is still
in the list waiting to be invoiced. How do I remove it from the order?

You're the seller? It's not paid?

Then cancel this removal, and I think you can unilateraly cancel stating you
don't have those.
But then those items are of course NOT going back to your stock (as you don't
have them).

I think, not sure - didn't do this for 10 years maybe...

Your buyer must first approve the request. Send them a message with instructions
on where to find it as the notification does not include this information any
more.

If you're the seller and order hasn't been paid for, why not just credit
the amount for missing item to the invoice?
That way you don't have to worry about stock you don't have going back
into your inv, (although you can just delete it..)
