| Hello, upon ordering from a store based in Germany (Barando) I started to get
the message at the very last step "PayPal API Error, We encountered API error
while processing your payment. Please check order status and try again" - but
the order was never placed - BL won't let me place it and it keeps giving
me this message. I checked my PayPal account - everything is fine there, though
the payment keeps getting stuck on "pending" and then after some time the amount
is refunded. How do I resolve this?

Have you tried to make the order in another device to see if the same problem
appears?
Also this store allows PayPal and PayPal (onsite) similar but distinct, have
you tried with the other PayPal option instead?
If nothing works you could try to message the seller with your problem and choose
another payment option like Bank Transfer at the checkout, but the seller will
be able to change it to PayPal payment once the order is placed and you can try
again.
