Hi LEGO friends,

I am brand new to this community and I was wondering how the Designer program
works. When the 17th may is there is it just that the several sets come online
and you can order them? If it reach 3000 then it will be produced if not your
money would be shipped back?

Is this how it works? Or do I have to do something special?

greets!

Here is the "Help" info for it: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/support/main.page?utm_content=subnav

Essentially, you are putting in a request for a set. If it is one of the first
5 to hit 3K orders, it will be slotted to be produced. You will provide payment
details during your pre-order, but will not actually be charged at all. If the
set is produced, when it is shipped, you will be charged that set's price.

If I understand correctly, only the first five sets to reach 3,000 pre-orders
will be produced. You will only be charged if the set(s) you ordered are actually
produced, and you won't be charged until your order ships, which may be months
from now.

That's basically it, although only the first five to reach 3000 will be produced.
You'll need to be logged in both here and on the Lego store, as orders are
processed there. Your money won't be taken until the sets are actually shipped
many months later, although there'll be a temporary authorization for the
full amount on your payment method. Some people have had issues in round 1 with
PayPal not re-authorizing payments correctly at shipping so it may be better
to pay by card if possible.

The other thing, make sure you've noticed that it will be a long time
until your sets are shipped. There are warnings about this at ordering and in
the programme details, but lots of people on other forums seem to have overlooked
that in their excitement for the previous rounds!
