I am very turned off by an announcement of a sale only to find out that the original
prices are so high, that the "sale" is negated. Has there ever been a discussion
about having a special category of sale that is tied to the 6-month average...and
therefore you would know if the sale is enticing enough. Perhaps the sale title
could include ***XX% SALE off of 6MA***.
Yes/No???

I agree it is frustrating, but I just dislike the store and move on.
Sellers are free to do as they wish with pricing. Buyers are free to not buy
from sellers who do this. You can also block those sellers who inflate before
sale tactics so you don't see their posts in the forums.

| I've only ever seen 1 sale where the person actually had a discounted price
from 6 month average.
It's really just comic relief for me sometimes to look at how high peoples'
prices are to keep their "sale" price above 6 month average still. Personally,
I've never had a sale in my store and I don't ever plan to. My prices
are fair as is and they generate the amount of orders that I want at the price
I want.

You can least favourite the store, use the ignore setting in the forum, or both.

| Same here, I solved it by going to My BL, Settings, My Discussion Forum Settings
and exclude all messages with topic 'sales'

That means you miss all posts in Sales, and sometimes there are genuine / decent
ones announced here.
