Going through a bunch of used decorated panels. Stickers incorrectly applied,
pieces that are more expensive without the stickers, decorated items that are
hard to find; most of you know that pain. Makes us wonder sometimes if it's
worth the work.

Then we find something like this and our eyes pop out of our heads.

Part No: 4215apb07  Name: Panel 1 x 4 x 3 - Solid Studs with UNICEF Logo Pattern
*
4215apb07 Panel 1 x 4 x 3 - Solid Studs with UNICEF Logo Pattern
Parts: Panel, Decorated {Blue}

No idea why it's so expensive, but man, was it a nice find.

Even more crazy to list such a part WITHOUT an original picture!

I mean, who puts down (2x(!)) +300 big ones for a worn out 50 year old sticker
with just a small note "looks fine"?

Also, those stickers are _not_ that difficult to DIY!

Not a sticker, it's a printed part. Estimated that only 1000 sets were made.

Person listing it didn't have camera at the time. We'll probably upload
a picture of it later (though we're happy to send pics to anyone interested).

And it's not a sticker, it's printed.

Also, our description is a bit more than "looks fine". The minor marks on the
piece are going to be super hard to pick up on a picture.

Paper too (instructions, posters, inserts, catalogs, etc). I was going through
an old pile and found these still in the poster tube:

https://www.bippitybricks.com/refugee-poster-project

Listed them on fleabay and got a very good price. You never know what you might
have.

Wow, that is interesting. I have a bunch of these posters, I think I have 4 different
ones (got them at an auction that had items provided by TLG, likely in 2003 or
2004 or so), they are hanging in my basement. I may actually have a second set
of these somewhere too, better not throw them away.....

It is a very cool piece. I don't understand paying hundreds of dollars for
the single piece but paying a few hundred for the UNICEF piece makes more sense
(to me) than paying thousands for Mr. Gold. Paying thousands for Mr. Gold makes
more sense than paying millions (or even thousands or hundreds) for an NFT of
something.
