Part
is catalogued in Technic
all other similar looking parts are in Bionicle
This piece is in 59 sets - as follows
Bionicle - 38
Throwbot - 13
Hero - 2
Others - 6
When you see this part (i.e. for sorting etc) it goes in with all the other similar
parts, its only when searching the catalogue its not where you think it would
be !!
I assume historically there's a reason why its in Technic, its just not obvious

It was first used in 1999 in these sets:

I think there is a catalog project to tackle Bionicle, Hero Factory, Large Figure
Part and Technic, but it would be a hard job.
