I got a boxes with no piece count on the side while the same set does have the
piece count on most other boxes I see on the internet. Why is this?

Maybe it's an empty box: no parts!
Or a print batch error.
Or a variation.

BTW: they always exagerate: they write 14+ years for example, it takes me less,
I can build the Set within a few hours!

Hoping that helps - but I'm not sure

I'm not the expert here, but I've heard that US sets have the piece count,
but those produced for Europe don't. Hopefully someone else may chime in
and confirm/deny that.

The US requires it, therefore all North American sets have the piece count.
European sets don’t have the piece count on them. You have a European box.
The code on the seal will tell you where it was made.

Wow, didn't know this.

Indeed, we know how to count parts

Great info, thanks!

There were a number of sets sold in the USA over the past year or two that had
stickers on them with the part count. I'm assuming the boxes were printed
in Europe and the stickers added for the US market.
