The statement copied at the bottom has appeared, apparently whenever I spend
'too many days' flipping through the hundreds of pages of larger stores.

I'm essentially locked out of any & all Bricklink stores until usually the
next day.

It's not a "problem", it's how it works, their TOS.

If you do a lot of searches/comparaisons, I'd recommend you BrickStore, free
and open-source, it has an automatic and powerful cache feature.

Otherwise, I don't see any other solution than to limit a bit yourself, for
example, using Wante-Lists to reduce the number of shops "randomnly" browsed?

HTH?

Which part of the in the TOS? Fair use I understand, but just browsing through
all items of let's say 2 or 3 stores only can already bring up this erroneous
error message.

I am more bothered by the lack of communication. This issue has been brought
up several times on the forum, but AFAIK Bricklink has never had the courtesy
to respond to the questions regarding it.

I guess so?

For what? This website is provided as is.

You wish to change it? Fair enough - but you may understand they don't have
to
answer to requests.

Please also note that there are maybe 10 threads about this in Forum, but more
than a half million users, and apparently there isn't half a million complaints
about this.

I wrote you solutions?
Please have a good day.

Thank you all for your replies. This is not an ideal business model, but it
is what it is, and I'll just have to deal with it.
