Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone would like to give me feedback on my prices in
my Bricklink store. I would be very helpful to know if i am pricing things high,
low, or just right.

Thanks, NG

Hey mate,

I'm not going to get too much into the actual pricing as i don't live
in the USA.

However, i will say two things.

1. Some of your used prices are higher than your new prices. For example.

Part No: 3024  Name: Plate 1 x 1
*
3024 Plate 1 x 1
Parts: Plate {Light Bluish Gray}

New is 7 cents, used is 8 cents??

2. Consolidate your lots. It is annoying as a buyer to sort through multiple
lots of the same part.

For example...

Part No: 61409  Name: Slope 18 2 x 1 x 2/3 with Grille
*
61409 Slope 18 2 x 1 x 2/3 with Grille
Parts: Slope {Dark Bluish Gray}

you have 4 lots of this parts in new.

Maybe when you are adding parts you are not ticking the consolidate button?

Just some constructive feedback.

Best of luck with your store.

Douglas.

Also consolidation helps buyers who search by quantity.

Sat you have 4 lots for the same part, color and condition. Each with qty 10.
So your total qty is 40. If I search for stores with qty 30, I wouldn't
see your store.

Thanks so much for this feedback, it is very helpful, with the consolidation
of lots, if i were to do this would the remarks on the pieces then be the same?
As sometimes the same part may be in two different bins as i use 4x6 bins which
inside have individually sorted 3x5 plastic bags full of parts. So for example,
i may have 1x1 plates in the bin "b11", but also in the bin "B24", if i were
to when, i add new parts hit the consolidate button, would the remarks then be
B11?

Thanks for all the help with this issue, NG

I think the remarks get concatenated, but I'm not sure. But in any case it
would probably be better to keep the parts together, at least where color/shape/condition
are the same.

I use Brickstore to generate the xml file and then do a mass upload. On the mass
upload page there is a checkbox to concatenate remarks, as well as options of
which to keep(old or new) for pricing, stockrooms, cost, etc.

other issues before also, thanks again for everyone's help.

Brickstore is the best!! The latest iteration is so useful to us that if BrickStore
was not free we would be willing to pay for it with no hesitation (they do have
a donate button on the support page on their website).

You can just look at item sale history and compare to your own prices... If you
want more orders, lower your prices. If you want fewer orders and more profit
per order, raise them. There really is no "just right".

How big do you want to be?

Low prices keep stores small, higher prices grown variety and volume. One is
less money now, one is more money later These are generalities
of course.

There's no wrong answer.
