So... what happened to the designer program? It seems to have dropped off the
radar. Are there production delays? Is the next round still happening? It seems
to have frozen. Maybe someone should turn it off and on again.

We are getting email in the US that shipping from round one has been delay to
around mid Feb. I would assume that they are holding off on Round 3 until they
get through these backlog issues.

Interesting that there are no links to the designer program from the front page
of BL I can find. Would be nice if they came out and admitted there are problems
rather than just delay tactics.

I got the same emails, but it's certainly not a shipping delay at this point...
must be more a production delay.

I wouldn't be surprised if part of it wasn't a shipping delay as there
have been a number of instances recently with the Jan 1st sets and other core
products not showing up on release day as well. Now is this directly related
to supply chain, shipping, overload, who really knows and we'll never find
that out.

As for the next round, I don't think it's majorly important that it happens
right away and if it did, we probably won't see shipping date until Winter
22/23 anyway, so there really isn't a rush IMO.

I too find it odd that all the webpages for this have disappeared. There is no
live link to my pending order from the My BL page even though there is still
a large placeholder for it. When I click on Go to your ADP orders on my Orders
Placed page, I get this messy bit:

I wish they would let us know what is happening. It's hard to keep building
trust for this sort of thing when it just disappears on you.

The BrickLink Designer Program is alive and well.

Hover over the Studio navigation tab and select "Designer Program" from the dropdown
list:

https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/introducing.page

You can find model information there (including pdf instructions) plus all the
original program info and FAQs. More announcements will be made as we approach
Round 3 crowdfunding.

That is for the Afol Designer Program (ADP) that is defunct yeah... Now its BrickLink
Designer Program (BDP), almost all details to ADP are gone, but there are a few
places where we see references to it, quite annoying, I have a open ticket about
it "waiting for agent".

Lol, I so do not care that these are different programs officially. They are
all Not-LEGO-Designed sets sold here on BrickLink by Not-Sellers. The ADP stuff
is taking up valuable real estate and sitting here with dead links. If they aren't
going to use it, they need to get rid of it. My two cents!

Despite my obvious negativity, I did end up with two of those sets and really
like them.

Presumably the next one will be the Community Designer Program (CDP).

That makes perfect sense!

Whoop, there it is.

Did someone forgot to pay your marketing department then? I don't think I
could have found a better place to hide it.

I Can see the round 2 archives just fine, but not the round 1. Are they gone
or hidden in plain sight too?

What's happening with the last Round? 3 months into 2022 and there hasn't
been any news. 8 sets haven't been updated since May 2021 and only one set
is Production Ready (Brickwest Studios).
