Hello, i'm having a hard time figuring out how to cancel an order.

A buyer mistakenly ordered parts they don't need and it would be easier to
just start over.

My goal is no negative impact on the buyer, myself, get their payment back and
my inventory
numbers correct again.

I tried the problem order page and it just opens a message box to the buyer?

I looked at the refund tab but im worried it won't return the 400 plus parts
to my inventory.

Thanks for any help.

Refund them the payment, then switch the order from paid to "ready". Then go
to the problem center, punch the order number in, and continue with the cancellation
process. Just make sure the option to reupload items to your inventory is checked
when doing so.

If you refund the whole payment, you also lose the whole PayPal fees.
PayPal fees are not refunded.

I would request buyer to request to more the parts he does not want.
