I started posting my extra pieces and parts of sets I no longer want, for the
first time...and kept getting that message; I haven't the slightest clue
what it means.

Could someone please help me, so I won't run into this problem again when
attempting to post?

The field expects a number like 12 or 15.25
If you included a unit of weeight like '10.6g', that would cause a non-numeric
error.
