| I managed to acquire a nice Star Wars retail display. The thing takes 24 D cell
batteries, so I had to order some to see if the lights still work. It's
not currently in the Bricklink inventory, so I'll have to get it added as
well.
The real question is how do you price something like this? I checked some of
the other listings and there isn't any recent sales data and hardly any available
for sale either.
I also would almost have to offer it as pickup only, since it's very large
and would be difficult to ship.
That said, if you're near SW Ohio and would be interested let me know, lol!

Seems I broke a rule by posting an external link. Anyway I found the store display
sets for 350-450 euro somewhere else.

You are correct, I would be hesitant to ship them too.
I once had:
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?G=SWCWAM1#T=S&O={%22rpp%22:%22100%22,%22iconly%22:0}
Not only very large but the plastic is quite flimsy and it has some fragile electronics.
A double cardboard box may protect it quite well but where do you find 2 really
large boxes that fit inside eachother…
Also, the electronics like lights, battery etc are often not very well attached
to the ‘set’ and can easily be damaged.

You price it at more than you paid for it, at a level of profit you are happy
with.
Alternatively you auction it elsewhere, or Dutch auction it here by listing high
and gradually reducing the price, or let buyers know you will consider offers.

Very nice, Greg!
If I were close to you, I'd be tempted. Lucky I'm not, I suppose
Really enjoy these retail display cases, of all themes but especially SW.
Whatever you do, hope it gets added to the catalog.
