Bend the legs at the hips (not all minifigures work this way)

| With a treat? 
Now if you were to make them to roll over and play dead, that would be impressive
In case it's an earnest question: The "standard" minifig, being absent knees,
can only sit straight-legged. Some not having hips, are unable to even do that.
They can only "roll over and play dead" 
Either way, it's a fun question!

If this is about Studio, there is a separate forum at https://forum.bricklink.com
To bend the hips & legs combination, you have to 'hinge' them using the
hinge icon that shows over the hips when you select the parts. For some purposes,
you might need to ungroup the hips & legs combination first, into hips and legs
separately. (see popup menu when you click with the right mouse button)
