I submit some sticker assemblies. The necessary stickers were included on sticker
sheets but they were not shown how to be applied on the main model. Either TLG
forgot, or they left to kids to check box arts, or they were not too strict on
how and where and which stickers to be used for trains.
The photos attached are taken from box arts or Lego catalog between 1980-82.

Photo 6: the hand of this kid covered the back of train. This kid had no idea
the consequences of his actions in this photo-shoot in winter 1979!
Photo 7: The front page of instructions manual. This is the only image where
the sticker "1" is applied on the back headlight.
