| I have two shipping methods available (first class and priority) and also "request
quote"
I only ship within the US
I have had several customers contacting me asking why I only have priority mail
available, when this happens they also don't see "request quote"
Can anyone shed light on this? I don't know how often this happens.
It is an intermittent occurrence - most recently a $12 order weighing 3oz, customer
only saw priority mail.
No idea, how much business I'm loosing, from potential customers who don't
inquire
Thanks

What are the parameters on your First Class shipping method ? It sounds like
the IC filtering software might be eliminating it, either due to the weight of
the calculated final package or the volume dimensions.
Might help if you can take a screen snapshot of that entry, and post it in your
reply.

Two remarks ...
Courier API is non-usable. It neither calls an API, nor is it returning numbers
that are close to the current postage rates. You need to download Notice 123
from the USPS site, study the commercial First Class Parcel Rates, and implement
a table (of sorts). be advised that FCPS is zoned, and BrickLink currently offers
no support for zoned rates, so you have to wing it.
FCPS is generally good up to 16-oz (contents + weight of packaging). I do not
know what the customer was ordering. If if weighed more than 13-oz, then FCPS
would be filtered out because it's not applicable.

Thanks again Nita. Guess that explains it. Why have an option that doesn't
function is beyond me though! Cheers Graham
