| Hello,
is it possible to download a reference like "Part and Color Codes" for "Gear
and Color Codes"? There is for example gear number 64776, which is listed with
2 (or 3) known colors. In the "Part and Color Codes" catalog download this known
colors do not appear, because the list seems to be limited to parts.
The software brickstore knews the known colors for this items (excluding the
red one, which seems to be wrong, but someone posted a lot for this color). Is
it really https://www.bricklink.com/v3/api.page?page=get-known-colors that have
to be called for every item in case of gears? Is there any way to get a complete
list?

| It seems so, that Parts And Colors downloadable list is incomplete. For example
part 4276 has only 2 colors listet. The api function returns 11. Is the catalog
download obsolete or why are there missing colors?

Part Color Codes and Known Colors are not the same.
PCC is the ID lego gives to a part generated with Mold X, Design ID X and Color
Z.
Known Colors list is generated within Bricklink by the appearances of the part
in a specific color in any inventory on Bricklink catalog.
