| I had every intention to have all 150,000 new parts ready to go but holy snots
life loves to get in the way doesn't it?
SO! When I got the email this morning that I was now a verified seller, I had
two options... Sit on it and wait another month or so to have everything sorted
out, or go ahead and open up shop with ~54,000 new pieces and ~500 vintage used...
I chose the latter.
Special thanks to MrPetovan for his numerous responces when I had questions on
the forums.

| Hey, thanks to the shout-out, you did the right thing opening right away. This
"soft opening" should get you slightly less orders than if you had thrice the
amount of parts available for sale, which will enable you to find your groove
preparing orders.
And if you don't get that many orders right away, you'll have time to
inventory the remaining parts.
Good luck!

Turns out I don't really have an option; the remainder of my order of plastic
containers has been backordered for three weeks now with no sign of being fulfilled.
I just added another 25,000 parts last night and several of the bins are bursting
at the seems. I'm going to have to find an alternative storage solution
if this drags out through the end of the month.

90 percent of my inventory is stored in corrugated cardboard boxes that cost
me nothing to acquire. As my inventory needs change, I add or remove or swap
boxes around. Wire rack shelving allows me floor to ceiling storage that is
up to 18 inches deep.
As far as BL sellers go, I know I am in the minority here, but -- I have
no use whatsoever for teeny tiny drawers that waste wall space and cost too much
money for too little capacity -- I prefer to spend the money on wholesale-priced
zip bags at fractions of a penny. I even use a local packaging supply company
so I pay no shipping or delivery charges for all my storage and shipping supplies.
Every seller has to figure out what works for them in the space they have available
and the amount of money they wish to spend on storage. I prefer to spend money
on new inventory rather than fancy storage. I also prefer to have my inventory
bagged in known quantities rather than loose in drawers that need to be counted
out again upon being purchased.

We're cut from the same cloth. Right now it's all about inventory, inventory,
inventory and finding any sets with a 300% return after discount.
I specifically went with two types of Steralite containers because their dimensions
allow me to stack them 16 high and 32 wide in the existing workspace... However
I've only had ~100 of the 500 delivered. Boxes will be a stopgap but at
least my wife's shoe habit will provide a near limitless supply through the
holidays. LOL.

Well... looks like I was the first one to place an order with your store. From
one fellow Ohioan to another, congratulations on your new store and here's
to more success down the road.

Best of luck - I see you've already gotten your first sale! I doubt there's
a better time of the year to open a store.

WOO HOO! My first guinea pigs! Now to test my picking and packing workflow.
You picked up some of my favorite pieces from my childhood; this is kind of bittersweet.

I'm a big fan of Classic Castle & Space.
How about a store logo for you to mitigate that bittersweet-ness...
