LEGO Bulk 60lbs Star Wars, Minifigures, Plates, Castle, Ninjago, Harry Potter.
It is all boxed up and ready to ship. It weighs 65+lbs with the box and everything.
ABSOLUTLEY NO GUARATEE THAT THE SETS ARE COMPLETE. THESE ARE PARTIAL SETS, BUT
THIS WHOLE LOT IS ALL ONE, SO IT'S POSSIBLE THESE ARE COMPLETE.
Roughly 95% LEGO pieces. I started removing some of the non-LEGO, but there is
some left. There wasn't a lot to begin with. Not to many heavily damaged
pieces, but could use a little wash. Tons and tons of minifigures as you can
tell from the pictures. Star Wars is the theme of this lot as there is plenty
of partial sets, minifigures, and instructions. A couple of boat hulls and baseplates,
including two large gray ones. You will receive exactly what is pictured. If
you have any questions feel free to ask.
|
You can't just list like this on BL. If you are trying to sell this here,
you need to create a custom listing.

So you can't list something on an online marketplace for sale in a community
forum labeled selling? Makes sense.

| KDSBRICKTOPIA,
Yes, you can advertise a sale or a listed lot in the forum, though the "Sales"
section may be a more appropriate place to post.
The issue with your post is this lot is not listed in your store and it appears
you may be offering this lot "off the record". To sell something on this website,
it must be listed in your store and officially hosted by BL. That is so if you
make the sale, BL can collect state sales tax and their commission fee, which
is clearly stated in the terms of the website.
I hope this helped and good luck with your lot!

Thank you for your response. I look at "Sales" as something that is on sale/discounted
and selling as "I'm selling something", but I do understand what you are
saying. I now get that it must technically be in my inventory and that every
site wants their piece of the pie (fees, taxes, etc..). But I wasn't trying
to officially make sale off site/record, more so just a starting point of the
lot and open a dialogue if someone was interested. Thank you for being helpful
as this is a learning situation for myself.

Yes you can, but you don't have it listed, just advertised. You're advertising
for something that does not exist on your store. How do you expect someone to
purchase it?
Create a custom lot on your store, then advertise it here.

Thank you for your response. The point of the post was to open a dialogue if
someone was interested. I figured no one is going just buy something for xxx
$ without asking questions, hence the open dialogue to the public. In addition,
this is an online marketplace community forum, so I assumed I could say, "hey,
I have a bunch of stuff I don't' want to sort and list, here it is, anyone
interested" and go from there, but I guess not. Learning lesson for myself. Thanks
again for the information.

It's a nice lot.
As to advertising it here in the forum, have a quick look at rules 5 and 6, and
you'll get a better understanding of what's the rub for others here:
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=126
That said, simply create an unsorted lot listing and go-to-town in promoting
it here in the forum, with a link to the lot even better.

Thank you for the response. I completely understand the no listing with other
links or sites associated. I was copying and pasting from another site and wasn't
paying attention. That's my fault for sure. Otherwise, I didn't realize
that it needed to technically be apart of my inventory. Either way, I do appreciate
your response and explanation.

No worries, it happens often here.
Rule #6 is fairly commonsensical and easily understood for most, whereas the
rule you were unaware of (rule #5) is less so, being more out of prudence I should
think.
