Overnight a customer ordered this set ...

Set No: 4706 Name: Forbidden Corridor
*
4706-1 (Inv) Forbidden Corridor
226 Parts, 3 Minifigures, 2001
Sets: Harry Potter: Sorcerer's Stone

I have two to fill the order with. One has a missing vinyl seal, while the other
is in a glue sealed box.

Comparing the weight on the two ... the vinyl sealed one weighs ~640.2 gms, while
the glue sealed one weighs ~600.6 gms. Catalog says 624 gms. OK, who submitted
the weight, and what continent are they from ? Why the weight was submitted by
cosmicray ! Oy ve, combined with bahahaha !

The two seal types also relate to two different weights of cardboard for the
outer box. And I have no clue which one was used for the catalog weight (oh so
many years ago).

One additional thought about the weight difference ...

The vinyl sealed box contains a cardboard tray. I have a strong suspicion that
the glue sealed box does not have a cardboard tray. Seeing as how the glue sealed
box has a heavier cardboard, I decided to weigh the cardboard tray (from the
vinyl sealed box). Tray weighs ~75 gms. So that, less the difference between
the outer box weights (which I cannot measure) makes me think they both are in
fact the same, and the tray weight is the factor here.

To the best of my knowledge, the catalog doesn't even have an entry for the
cardboard trays. On some cardboard trays I have seen a 7-digit internal number
embossed, but not this one.

Maybe you averaged them.
