Greetings

New store (East Wing) and I've got some sets in my collection I'm thinking
of selling. A few of them are large and heavy (Roller Coaster, Ninjago City Gardens,
UCS Falcon, etc) and I'm wondering if there's a way to specify a particular
shipping rate for individual items or maybe if those large sets could be put
into a group that would trigger that shipping rate method.

Most of what I sell is parts, so it's all 'weight bands' in my shipping
methods, but the top band I don't think will cover the cost of shipping a
UCS Falcon or NCGardens.

I'm unaware of any way to set a shipping rate for individual items, but what
you can do is force them to be manual only so that you can invoice the buyer
with the appropriate shipping charge. You could also adjust your top weight band
if it won't mess with your part sales too much.

Thanks.

I did add some heavier weight bands which should cover it, assuming BL lists
the proper weights.

Not sure how to "force them to be a manual only" for specific items. Is that
a checkbox somewhere on the item's list page?

There is a drop down under each item where you can set it to manual only. See
Pkg Type in the picture. This will only give buyers the option of a manual quote.
Then you can give them an accurate shipping cost.
